- The Refinery currently has a capacity of 260,000 barrels per day
(bpd), processing crude oil from domestic sources and imports. The
overall planned investment Balikpapan Refinery (“RDMP Balikpapan”)
aims at expanding refining capacity to 360,000 bpd, whilst increasing
the yield of transportation fuels by converting heavier crude oil
fractions, increasing feedstock flexibility to process higher sulphur
crude feed, and meet increasingly stringent product quality specifications.
