CHAPTER 1:
1.0 Introduction

Hayat management system is a system that makes it easy for the doctor to keep his data safe and
reliable Hayaat is a doctor in Somaliland especially hargeisa who provides medical services
including surgery for broken bones, fractures and etc

1.1 Problem Background

Hayat Diagnostics and Imaging Center is one of the most famous places in Somaliland that
provide medical services in all regions of the country, and it is located in ( Hayaat Diagnostics
and Imaging Center is located at: Ex-National Cinema street, 26June District., Hargeisa,
Somaliland ) this health center founded by A/Rahman Mohamoud Suleiman in 2008, and many
doctors participated in its establishment. known in the country, When we go back to the doctor's
history we divide it into two periods before 2008 and after 2008.
Before 2008, this doctor had 1 center which was difficult for people to reach and it was busy and
people came from all over the country, there was only one machine.
After 2008, new equipment was added to the doctor's office to shorten waiting times and new
facilities were opened in other hospitals, facilitating social and health communication.

1.2 Problem Statement

- Before innovative and smart Hayaat Management System came into practice, it was quite
difficult to maintain proper records of the daily activities of hospitals, patient information, the
maintenance schedule & inventory of medical equipments in the hospital, and how funds are
being allocated and used. This resulted in the waste of money, time and manpower Generally
there is a large development of information in medical facility on a daily basis. Each manually
operated administration concerning these records can result in a bunch of glitches will also
spend time, funds as well as initiatives.
Additionally the medical facility can receive information after a long waiting and processing
policies this particular project will most likely eliminate such kind of errors and long waiting
process additionally could make the hospital/clinic to reclaim from the data quickly and
efficiently. This particular project helps to save efforts, funds and also work.

1.3 Problem solving

 Hayat Management System helps in monitoring and controlling the hospital’s daily
transactions, as well as the hospital’s performance. It also helps to address the critical
requirements of the hospital.
 It enables access to the right information and automation of complex task, thereby
allowing staff to spend more time caring for patients. Hospital Management System is
custom built to meet the specific requirements of the medium and generous size hospitals
across the globe.

1.4 Objectives of the Project

A hospital management system is an integrated and robust platform designed to connect and
manage hospitals across all departments, such as medical, financial, patient, and administration,
in a single place.
Features
* Easy to use and simple interfaces across all modules

* The flow of financial data with centralized documentation

* Data management

* Comprehensive dashboard

* Patient masters
* Doctor masters

* Staff management

1.5 Scope
The proposed software product is the Hospital Management System (HMS). The system will
beused in any Hospital, Clinic, Dispensary or Pathology labs in any Hospital, Clinic,
Dispensary orPathology labs to get the information from the patients and then storing that data
for futureusage The current system in use is a paper-based system. It is too slow and cannot
provide updated listsof patients within a reasonable timeframe. The intentions of the system are
to reduce over-time pay and increase the number of patients that can be treated accurately.
Requirements statementsin this document are both functional and non-functional.

1.6 Procedure/Methodology
Methodology used in the project will be waterfall model. Waterfall model is a project
management approach that emphasizes a linear progression from beginning to end of a project.
The phases of waterfall model are as follows:
I. Requirements

II. Design

III. Implementation

IV. Verification or Testing

V. Deployment and Maintenance

For this project we will be using waterfall model to develop the system and the reason for this
model is because it allows for work breakdown and control. A schedule can be set with deadlines
for each stage of development and a product can proceed through the development process
model phases one by one.
This helps avoid any delay in the project even cost delay cause the cost is predetermined.

1.7 Expected Outcome

The main objective of this project is the following points:

- [ ] The project will solve the problems of delay in the overall process of the hospital

- [ ] The project will produce a daily, monthly and annual report on the activities carried out.

- [ ] The project will enhance the administration and performance of services.

- [ ] The project will increase the satisfaction of doctors.

- [ ] The project will develop a single purpose integrated system

Literature Review
2.1: Introduction:
Hospital management system is designed for multispecialty hospitals, to cover a wide Range of
hospital administration and management processes of patient-centric system This system
facilitates all the work in the hospital which has different forms to store patients, doctors names
and other hospital staff can also be printed from each of their documents, Hayaat Management
System is a system enabling hospitals to manage information and data related to all aspects of
healthcare – processes, providers, patients, and more, which in turn ensures that processes are
completed swiftly and effectively
2.2: Literature review

Previous researches show that hospital organizations have initiated improvement programs and
invested considerably in the orientation and management of processes, using maturity models to
improve structures and learning. In this context, the objective of the present paper is to analyze
previous researches related to hospital management maturity models, using the Morton (1994)
organizational dimensions' analysis model, adapted for hospital organizations. The Web of
Science, Scopus, Spell and BDTD platforms were used for this study. We screened 305
identified papers, published from January 2005 till December 2019, using search descriptors:
“Maturity Model” and “Hospital management". We identified Forty-one articles as eligible for
information extraction and analysis. The surveys are classified into five organizational
dimensions: Strategy, Structure, Decision Making, Technology, and People A literature review is
the synthesis of the available literature regarding your research topic. This synthesis merges the
conclusions of many different sources to explain the overall understanding of the topic, thus
laying a foundation for both the research question and primary research. Although a literature

on the organizational dimensions. The research is essentially related to information systems,
supply management and quality management. Although there are different models of hospital
management maturity, it was found A literature review is the synthesis of the available literature

2.3: Review of Existing Systems

Hospitals currently use a manual system for the management and maintenance of critical
information. The current system requires numerous paper forms, with data stores spread
throughout the hospital management infrastructure This system is more time-saving,
understandable and useful than the previous one, which was difficult to print on paper.

2.4: Related Literature:

The importance of hospitality management is well documented in educational research. Studies

have shown that the use of this system can bring great success to the hospital, that the patient is
often admitted to this system, it is easy to find him and he needs less time than before. Hospital
management systems have been found to be an effective tool for improving patient care. In
addition, research has shown that these methods are more reliable and better than previously
used methods.
2.5: Summary

All in all, Hayaat Management systems are an important tool for Hospitals to improve the
accuracy of employee data and monitor patient attendance. These systems have been shown to be
effective in improving daily work standards and are more accurate than manual tracking systems
Hayaat management systems are essential tools for hospitals to monitor the overall health of the
hospital accurately. Using these systems can help hospitals improve performance, which in turn
can lead to better learning outcomes for students. As technology continues to improve, it is likely
that Life Management systems will become more sophisticated and effective in the future.
CHAPTER THREE
ANALYSIS
3.0: Introduction

Hayaat management system (HMS) is a software application used to manage and monitor the
Hospital of employees or a patient in an organization. The system allows organizations to
efficiently and track patient data, automate attendance-related tasks, and generate reports for
analysis and decision-making. In this analysis, and saved by ID or phone number we will discuss
the key features and benefits of an at Hayaat management system, its implementation process,
and some of the challenges that organizations may face during the implementation and usage of
the system.
The Hayaat management system allows organizations to automate the Hayaat public data process
using biometric, Flash, or hard drive systems. This saves time and reduces the chances of book
and pen recording errors in manual antiquities.
EmployeeTime Monitoring: The system allows organizations to monitor attendance in real-time,
making it easier to track employees' arrival and departure times and ensure compliance with
attendance policies.
Hayaat managment Policies: The system allows organizations to set customized attendance
policies based on their needs and requirements. These policies can be used to define attendance
rules, calculate overtime, and apply

3.1: Existing System Description

At first he used a temporary poor system Hayaat and also use book to register the patient and
employee which an obstacle to the school and took a lot of time. This system helps the Hospital to
easily accessible and managed all the functions of the doctor
3.2: Requirements specifications of the to-be system

The proposed (new) system is very easy to manage. Speed and accuracy are the main advantages
of proposed system. There is no redundancy of data. The data are stored in the computer’s
secondary memories like hard disk. It can be easily received and used at any time. The proposed
system will easily handle all the data and the work done by the existing systems. The proposed
systems eliminate the disadvantages of the existing system to a huge degree and generate reports
any time wanted.

3.2.1: Functional Requirements

3.2.1 Admin
Admin can sign in and sign out, he can add, edit and delete ID, employee and patient.
He also can make a report of the attendance record
Non-admin users can view activity but cannot add anything
3.2.2 Lecture
The admin will give the Lecture a username and a password so that he can sign in.
Then the Lecture can sign in and he also can make half manage and make a report of the at Hospital
previous record of each student and the also the all class attendance record

3.3.1 Data Flow Diagrams (DFD)
Is a graphical or visual representation using a standardized set of symbols and notations to describe
a business's operations through data movements? They are often elements of a formal methodology
such as Structured Systems Analysis and Design Method (SSADM).A DFD shows what kind of
information will be input to and output from the System, how the data will advance through the
system, and where the data will be stored. The transformation of data from input to output, through
processes, may be described logically and independently of the physical components associated
with the system. It does not show information about process timing or whether processes will
operate in sequence or in parallel, unlike a traditional structured flowchart which focuses on
control flow, or a UML activity Workflow diagram, which presents both control and data flows as
a unified Mode.
