Certification Description
Overview
This certification provides a comprehensive understanding of the various data
protection and availability solutions for modern data protection wherever data
lives including cloud, data center or edge devices. It enables participants to
make informed decisions on data protection-related technologies and provides a
strong understanding of data protection technologies and prepares participants
for advanced concepts, technologies, and processes.

Certification Requirements
To complete the requirements for this certification you must:

Exam Description
Overview
This exam is a qualifying exam for the Associate - Data Protection and
Management (DCA-DPM) track.

This exam focuses on data protection and management in a modern data center
environment. It includes fault-tolerant IT infrastructure, data backup, data
deduplication, data replication, data archiving, and data migration. It also includes
cloud-based data protection techniques, SDDC-specific data protection, and
solutions for protecting Big data, Edge, and mobile device data, data security, and
data protection management. A limited number of questions refer to product
examples that are used in the training to reinforce the knowledge of technologies
and concepts.

Dell Technologies provides free practice tests to assess your knowledge in


preparation for the exam. Practice tests allow you to become familiar with the
topics and question types you will find on the proctored exam. Your results on a
practice test offer one indication of how prepared you are for the proctored exam
and can highlight topics on which you need to study and train further. A passing
Duration score on the practice test does not guarantee a passing score on the certification
90 Minutes exam.
