First time RSA registration
Installing the RSA SecurID app on your Android device
1. On your Android device open the Google Play store.
2. Search the Google Play store for RSA SecurID.
3. To the right of the RSA SecurID app listing selectInstall.
4. If prompted enter your Google Play store password or use your Touch ID to authenticate.
6. When completed click on Submit Request. You will receive an email from [email protected]
informing you of the changes to your RSA SecurID account.
7. Now on the top right hand side of the RSA SecurID portal clickRequest Token.
8. Click on Android.
9. Choose and confirm a 4 digit PIN code that you can easily remember (you will use this PIN to
access your token on the RSA SecurID app to generate passcodes) and click onSubmit. You will
receive another email from [email protected] about the changes to your RSA SecurID account.
10. Click Scan Token Now on the Select Your Delivery Method window from the RSA Prime Self
Service portal page. The Scan Your Token window will now pop up with a QR code. Leave that
window open and proceed to the next step.
11. Go back to your Android, open the RSA SecurID app, select toAccept the license agreement, and
select Continue.
14. Now point the Android’s camera at theQR code that is displayed in the center of your portal
on the computer screen where it is showing to import the token.
15. The app should now successfully import your token. SelectOK on the device.
16. Go back to the RSA SecurID portal and ClickOK.
17. You will now be prompted to test your token with your RSA SecurID app on the RSA Prime Self
Service portal.
18. Go back to your Android with the RSA SecurID app. On the Enter PIN screen enter the4 digit
PIN you have chosen into the field and select the white arrow.
19. Your Android RSA app will display an 8 digit generated passcode with an expiration time. Go
back to the RSA SecurID portal and enter the passcode into the Test your Token Passcode field
and click Test Login before the passcode expires. A passcode may only be used once. If asked
for the next passcode or if authentication fails, press the next token icon to generate a new
passcode.
21. On the RSA SecurID portal page on your computer browser, at the top right you may now click
to logout of the portal.
