Method of Preparation

Zinc Paste APF Preparation:
__________________________________________________________________________________
1.Put 16g of White Soft Paraffin into a 150mL beaker and heated it up
__________________________________________________________________________________
2. Weighed 8g of Zinc Oxide on a electric balance and poured it into a Mortar
__________________________________________________________________________________
3. Weighed 8g of Starch on a electric balance and poured it into a Mortar and stired it thoroughly
__________________________________________________________________________________
4. Added the melted White Soft Paraffin into the mortar and stirred thoroughly

Lassar Paste Formulation:

1. Weighed 0.500g of Salicylic Acid and used a spatule to remove any lumps and break it down
__________________________________________________________________________________
2. Weighed 0.500g of Liquid Paraffin on a Plastic Sheet and transferred it onto the Salicylic Acid
__________________________________________________________________________________
3.Triturated the Parrafin with the Salicylic acid till evenly mixed together
__________________________________________________________________________________
4. Weighed 24g of Zinc Paste and slowly added it onto the paste while mixing it evenly
