RECRUITMENT :

In human resource, “recruitment” is the process of finding and hiring the best and most qualified
candidate for a job opening, in a timely and cost-effective manner. It can also be defined as the
“process of searching for prospective employees and stimulating and encouraging them to apply
for jobs in an organization”. Recruitment helps divide applications into categories of under-

GST :

GST, or Goods and Services Tax, is an indirect tax imposed on the supply of goods and
services. It is a multi-stage, destination-oriented tax imposed on every value addition, replacing
multiple indirect taxes, including VAT, excise duty, service taxes, etc.

In simple words, GST is a tax applicable to the value added to goods and services at each stage
in the supply chain.

TYPES OF GST :
There are four types of GST namely,

 Central Goods and Service Tax ( CGST )

 State Goods and Service Tax ( SGST )

 Integrated Goods and Service Tax ( IGST )

CENTRAL GOODS AND SERVICE TAX :

CGST stands for Central Goods and Services Tax. CGST is a tax charged on the intrastate
supply of goods and services by the central government and is governed by the CGST Act,
2017. SGST will also be levied on the same Intra State supply but will be governed by the State
Government.

STATE GOODS AND SERVICE TAX :

SGST means the state goods and Service tax, which is one of two taxes that is levied on
the intrastate transactions of the goods and the services. It is responsible for the state government
and will be governed by the SGST Act.

INTEGRATED GOODS AND SERVICE TAX :

IGST stands for Integrated Goods and Services Tax. IGST is one of the three
components of Goods and Services Tax. It is numerically equals = CGST + SGST. The IGST
rate would broadly be equal to CGST rate plus SGST rate.

IGST would be levied by the Central Government on all inter-State transactions of taxable goods
or services. IGST rate= CGST rate + SGST rate ( more or less).

GSTIN :

Business entities need to register under GST and obtain a unique 15-
digit Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN).
For Example : 29GGGGG1314R9Z6

 The first two digits represent the state code as per Indian Census 2011. Every state has a

unique code.

 The next ten digits will be the PAN number of the taxpayer.

 The thirteenth digit will be assigned based on the number of registration within a state.

 The fourteenth digit will be “Z” by default.

 The last digit will be for check code. It may be an alphabet or a number.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the idea that a company should play a

positive role in the community and consider the environmental and social impact of business
decisions.
