Activity 4

The document summarizes a webinar by Mr. Regill Villasis about personal development for high school students. Mr. Villasis asked students questions about four aspects of life: academics, social life, relationships, and personal life. For academics, he stressed the importance of discipline for staying organized and achieving goals. For social life, he emphasized maintaining good relationships with family and friends. Regarding relationships, he said they are normal for teenagers but should not interfere with goals and studies. Finally, for personal life he advised deciding what is best for yourself and planning your future without too many emotions. The key lesson was realizing that sharing with others can help solve problems that are difficult to handle alone.

Activity 4

1. Do you take responsibility and follow through

As a student/teenager I do take responsibility but not all the time. I still
complaining on myself rarely. But I take responsibility through my words, actions,
feelings and perceptions. What I do realized taking responsibility necessitates the
recognition that you are a participant in any circumstance or experience and hence
have some responsibility for the results or repercussions. It's possible you've heard
it called responsibility. When a mistake is made or a problem emerges, your initial
reaction should not be to blame others, make excuses, manipulate the facts, or
outright lie. Instead, you quickly accept that there is a problem, pinpoint your part
in it, and devise a strategy to reduce or completely eliminate the likelihood of it
happening again. So, in that case I do take responsibility.

2. Do you cooperate with others?

Yes, because it is typically beneficial. It provides greater value and simplifies and
improves our lives. Cooperating is also means helping others. It is vital because it
allows us and groups to collaborate in order to achieve a common objective or reap
mutual advantages. Cooperation takes happen on various levels, including between
individuals, organizations, and nations and countries. Cooperation allows
individuals to share useful information, allowing both parties to expand their
knowledge bases and operate more efficiently.

3. Are you good at sport?

No, but I used to play volleyball before. Besides of it I used to play because it
includes some exercise, have some fun, and acquire crucial social skills like
collaboration and sportsmanship. Respect is the foundation of good sportsmanship.
Respect for the other members of one's team is a virtue in sports. They have a high
regard for the players on rival teams.
4. Can you keep your calmness in a stressful situation?
Not all the time, whenever I lose my track and plans especially in a simple thing, I
panick. So, I can’t keep my calmness everytime especially if it is all about the
schoolworks. Sometimes I can but sometimes I can’t. Being so much stress leads
me to cramming.

5. Do you think for your self?

Yes, most of the time. In these times of fast media and ever-growing Internet, we
are under so many external influences that it can be difficult to know when we are
thinking for ourselves. Unless you are a discerning, very aware person, you most
likely don't even know when your thinking is not your own. Develop a strong sense
of self is what of thing that I did. Knowing who am I, what I want and what is best
for me. Do not let others, especially the media, tell you how you should look, feel
and act. Do what is best for you. Cultivate your own tastes and enjoy your
preferences.

SUMMARY ABOUT WEBINAR BY MR. REGILL VILLASIS

He talks about the journey of shs but then first thing that he did was to asked some
of the students about the four aspects of life. First is the Acdemic Aspeccts where
in discipline is a must especially to your schoolworks, because discipline ensures
individuals maintain silence at classroom as a single unit with their classmates to
achieve organization goals and objectives. Discipline is in fact the lifeline of an
organization. Without discipline, student (us) would not only misbehave but also
do whatever we want to do. Second was about the social aspects where in a
person's social life consists of the various bonds they form with others, such as
family, friends, members of their community, and strangers. It can be measured by
the duration and quality of the social interactions they have on a regular basis, both
in person and online. Mr. regill said that we must have good relationship with
others especially to our family. Third is relationship aspects, he even asked other if
they are inlove and knowing if their relationship help them in their studies or even
the life of each other. Because he said that teenagers right now are normalizing
relationship and he added that it’s okay as long as it helps you rather than losing
your goals and studies. Last is your personal life, he said that always decide what is
best for you, first things first, plan your future and don’t put up so many emotions
especially when your teenager because it was too hard to focus from your goals to
that. Overall, the moment he asked us I realized that his purpose was to share what
we feel. What I’ve learned from that is that you will never going to be able to come
up with anything good on your own so sometimes sharing is the solution to come
up with your problems because there’s a crap-ton of thing in this world, that we
just can’t deal with ourselves. We need the help of others.
