5. Volkswagen PASSAT with 2.0L TDI engine

Hello guys this is Jason here we have 2013 Fox wagon pass it with 2-liter TDI engine.
Today I'm going to show you DPF special functions by using triskin 2 DP f stands for (1)

almost all vehicles with diesel engine are equipped with DP f system DP f literally filters
particulate matters inside the (3) E……………pipe from the diesel engine ECU monitors
DP f condition by receiving (4) S……………from differential pressure (5)
S………….and other sensors when ECU (6)……….. particulate matter is starting to pile
up in the diesel particulate filter it will automatically start to perform DPF regeneration
mostly without the drivers knowing about it but here comes a (7)…………….during the
DPF burning (8)…………the driver who may not be aware of the fact the DPF burning is
in progress could turn off the engine and thereby (9)…………….the ECU to completely
burn down the particulate matter inside the exhaust and eventually (10)…………..matter
is going to keep piling up and the filter is completely blocked however with g-scan we
can command ECU to perform DPF burning let's take a look at g skin let's select
diagnosis and Volkswagen and select general common and engine electronics and let's go
to a special function and before you do the DPF burning function you need to go to
security axis and if you select tip button at the bottom it's going to guide you which code
you need to enter so we're going to do the DPF regeneration while standing in idle status
so we need to put two seven nine seven one and then after we input this code we need to
go to basic setting and then do the function well before regeneration while driving you
need to put one two three in security access and then you have to go to adaptation control
let's input two seven nine seven one seven nine one select okay and security access of
accepted now let's go to basic setting if you click the top down bar drop-down bar you
can find a service regeneration of particle filter so click OK and it's going to guide you
the action you need to take deep breaths brake pedal and release and a depress accelerator
pedal fully and then release the pedal now it's running now the function has been
