Ethics Concept Map

Ethics provides moral principles for individuals and society, with the goal of forgiving others and considering their interests. There are two main types of ethics: normative ethics, which studies what is morally right and wrong; and descriptive ethics, also called comparative ethics, which examines people's actual moral beliefs and how they vary over time and between cultures. While normative ethics determines how people ought to act, descriptive ethics observes what moral views people adopt based on their environment. Understanding ethics helps distinguish right from wrong decisions and defines good character.
