Summing Forssell

The document describes an 8 channel passive summing bus circuit. Each input channel consists of a 5k ohm resistor between the tip and ring connections of an XLR or TRS jack. The sleeve connections of inputs 1-7 are connected directly to chassis ground, while input 8 shows an optional 0.1uF capacitor to ground to prevent loops. Input 4 sums the signals and provides a combined output through another XLR/TRS jack. The source impedance is 600 ohms and input impedance is 5.7k ohms. The load impedance should be 10k ohms or higher.
