The Benefits of Positive Attitude

One day, A teacher was having a conversation with students on an important life
lesson.

Teacher: Why do we have brakes in a car?

Student 1: To stop the car.

Student 2: To control the speed of the car

Student 3: To avoid collision

Teacher: You are right in your own way but the real reason for brakes is to make
the car run faster.

Deep silence. No one had imagined this answer. It is a surprising answer isnt it.

Teacher: If our car had no brakes then how fast can we drive our car? 5 kmph? It is
the brakes that gives us the comfort to drive the car faster. Similarly, there are
many such brakes in our life, which stop or restrict us. Our parents, teachers,
friends help us to go ahead with confidence and progress in life. We tend to view
their difficult questions or restrictions as brakes that impede our pace. But they
are the catalyst that enable us to take risks while ensuring we protect ourselves.
Without these brakes, we could slip, lose direction or be victims of unfortunate
incidents. It is the presence of boundaries that creates new freedoms.

This perception is known to be positive Attitude.

“Hello, everyone. Thank you for having me. My name is N P MANISHA, and I am going
to be speaking to you today about Benefits of Positive Attitude.

A positive attitude helps you cope more easily with the daily affairs of life. It
brings optimism into your life, and makes it easier to avoid worries and negative
thinking. If you adopt it as a way of life, it would bring constructive changes
into your life, and makes them happier, brighter and more successful.

With a positive attitude you see the bright side of life, become optimistic, and
expect the best to happen. It is certainly a state of mind that is well worth
developing.

Positive attitude manifests in the following ways:

Positive thinking.
Constructive thinking.
Creative thinking.
Optimism.
Motivation and energy to do things and accomplish goals.
An attitude of happiness

A positive frame of mind can help you in many ways, such as:

Expecting success and accepting failure.


Making you feel inspired.
It gives you the strength not to give up, if you encounter obstacles on your way.

Enables you to show self-esteem and confidence.


You look for solutions, instead of dwelling on problems.
You see and recognize opportunities.
Making you feel inspired.

How do you develop a positive attitude towards life?


From the time you wake up in the morning to the time you go to bed, your attitude
determines the outcome of your day and all the days that follow.

Here are 4 tips on having a positive attitude that you can apply in your daily
life:

Stop worrying so much about what other people think about you.

Express gratitude daily.

Let go of grudges and forgive.

Eliminate the negativity.

We live in a world where stress is part of our everyday life. From work, school,
finances and family obligations tend to make life stressful.

If we’re always stressed, our attitudes become affected. Maintaining a positive


attitude in times like this can not only make you mentally stronger, but also allow
you to bounce back from any setbacks that you may have.
