Faith That Wins
Faith That Wins
The answer that came from God after a still moment [Exodus 14:13-15].
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord,
13
which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them
again no more forever.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of

The voice of the flesh came but Moses didn't react to it [Exodus -14:13-15]
Murmuring would further stifle the move of the Spirit but being still in such moment to Connect
to the voice of the Lord, His answer moved them faster out of the situation.
David’s Faith
He was told to move only when [i.e moving only when] he saw God or God’s heavenly host had
moved [II Samuel 5:22-25].
And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
22
And when David enquired of the Lord, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass
23
behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.
And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then
24
thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the Lord go out before thee, to smite the host of the
Philistines.
And David did so, as the Lord had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until

Jesus moved only when He saw His Father had moved. And they could not kill him until
the Father allowed it. Why? My Father worketh hitherto and I work. [John 5:17-19].
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the
18
sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do
19
nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth,
these also doeth the Son likewise.
Even in raising Lazarus back to life and his going again into Judea, it was only at the
move of the Light [see John 11:7-10].
7
Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
8
His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou
thither again?
9
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he
stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
10
But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
Abraham was discerning enough to see a move of God’s heavenly messengers. He drew
the move into this house, and that brought a new day for him [His long awaited package
got delivered to him]. Gen. 18:1-3
And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat
of the day;
2
And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he
ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from
thy servant:
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are
saved;)
6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward

Revelations 4:1;
4 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard
was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee
things which must be hereafter.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called

Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen,

At the end of our wilderness journey when we have become a full grown bride [that is, His
church] we’ll be called to be a part of a heavenly spiritual army.
We are called to discern His steps and follow. And in following, we see His victory produced in
our lives. It is true spiritual maturity for us to be able to discern His move [as did Abraham in
Genesis 18:3] and to move and connect fast to it.
And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from
3
thy servant.
This is also evident in the life of the patriarchs especially those considered. It was never a
victory of their own but were a product of what God was doing [His move] at that time.
You have a responsibility as a church to have your ears opened, your spirit alert and those who
have an ear will hear what the spirit is saying at this time, and the victory the spirit is leading us
into [seeRev 3:20-22].
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will
20
come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Matthew 16:13-17
When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood

Mark 6:14-15
And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the

Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.

None of the disciples had built walls yet to block their heart from forming their beliefs based on
the sayings of the world. But one man of them had his ear inclined upon the Spirit’s move, and
[the spirit brought Him], the revelation from the Father [SeeMatthew 16:17].
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood
