Du’as - Compiled

Du’a for sincerity

ً ‫اج َع ْلهُ ِل َو ْج ِه َك خَا ِل‬

َ ‫ص َاو ََل تَ ْج َع ْل ِِل َ َح ٍد فِ ْي ِه‬
‫ش ْيئًا‬ َ ُ‫ع َم ِلي ُكلَّه‬
ْ ‫صا ِل ًحا َو‬ ْ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم‬
َ ‫اج َع ْل‬
Allahumma-ja’al 'amalee kullahu saalihan wa-ja’alhu liwajhika khaalisan wa laa taj’al li ahadin
feehee shay’a
O Allah, make all of my actions righteous, make them purely for your sake & pleasure and don’t
allow anyone else to have a share of them.

Du’a for protection from Shirk

‫ َوأ َ ْستَ ْغ ِف ُر َك ِل َما ََل أ َ ْعلَم‬، ‫عوذُ ِب َك أ َ ْن أ ُ ْش ِر َك ِب َك َوأَنَا أ َ ْعلَ ُم‬

ُ َ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم ِإنِِّي أ‬
Allahumma inni a’oodhu bika an ushrika bika wa ana a’lam wastaghfiruka lima laa a’lam
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your
forgiveness for that of which I am unaware

Du’a for Patience

َ ‫علَ ْينَا‬
‫صب ًْرا‬ ْ ‫َربَّنَا أ َ ْف ِر‬
َ ‫غ‬
Rabbana afrigh 'alayna sabra
Our Lord, pour upon us patience.

Du’a for obtaining truthfulness

َ ‫اللَّه َّم إ ِنِّي أَسْألُ َك ِلسانًا‬

‫صادِقا‬
Allahumma inni as'aluka lisaanan saadiqa
O Allah I ask you for a truthful tongue

Du’a for Taqwa

 ‫اف َو ْال ِغنَى‬
َ َ‫اللَّ ُه َّم ِإ ِنِّي أَسْأَلُ َك ْال ُه َدى َوالتُّقَى َو ْال َعف‬
Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda, wat-tuqa, wal-'afafa, wal-ghina
O Allah, I ask you for guidance, righteousness, abstinence, and self-sufficiency

Du’a for obtaining Yaqeen

‫ َو ِم ْن‬، ‫عتِ َك َما ت ُ َب ِلِّغُنَا ِب ِه َجنَّت َ َك‬

َ ‫طا‬ َ ‫ َو ِم ْن‬، ‫يك‬
َ ‫اص‬ِ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم ا ْق ِس ْم لَنَا ِم ْن َخ ْش َيتِ َك َما َي ُحو ُل َب ْي َننَا َو َبيْنَ َم َع‬
‫ت ال ُّد ْنيَا‬ ِ ‫علَ ْينَا ُم‬
ِ ‫صيبَا‬ ِ ‫ْاليَ ِق‬
َ ‫ين َما ت ُ َه ِّ ِو ُن بِ ِه‬
O Allah, give us a share of fear of You that will prevent us from disobeying You, (a share) of
obedience to You that will help us to reach Paradise, and (a share) of certainty that will enable
us to withstand the calamities of this world

Du'a for protection of blessings

‫َطك‬
ِ ‫سخ‬ ُ َ ‫ إِنًّى أ‬، ‫َاللِّ ُه َّم‬
َ ِ‫ َو َج ِميع‬، ‫ َوفُ َجا َءةِ نَ ْق َمتِ َك‬، ‫ َوتَ َح ُّو ِل َعافِيَت َ َك‬، ً‫عوذُ بِ َك ِم ْن زَ َوا ِل نِ ْع َمتِك‬
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuja'ati niqmatik, wa
jami'i sakhatik.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You against the declining of Your Favours, passing of safety, the
suddenness of Your punishment and all that which displeases You.

Du'as for the heart

ٍ ‫َالله َّم إني أعوذُ بك من قل‬

‫ب َل يخشع‬
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min qalbin laa yakhsh'a
O Allah I seek refuge in You from a heart that does not devote itself

‫اللَّه َّم إِنِِّي أسألُ َك قلبًا خاشعًا‬

Allahumma inni as'aluka qalban khaashi'aa
O Allah I ask you for a devoted heart
Du'a for Remembrance
 ِ ‫ َو ُحس‬، ‫ش ْك ِـرك‬
‫ْـن ِعبـا َدتِـك‬ َ ‫اللِّ ُهـ َّم أ َ ِعـ ِنِّي‬
ُ ‫علـى ِذ ْك ِـر َك َو‬
Allahumma a-inni ‘ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ‘ibadatik

O Allah! Assist me in remembering You, in thanking You, and in worshipping You in the best of
manners.

Du'a for Steadfastness

َ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم ا ْه ِدنِي َو‬

‫س ِ ِّد ْد ِني‬
Allhumma-hdini wa saddidni

O Allah! Direct me to the Right Path and make me adhere to the Straight Path

َ ‫ص ِل ْح ِلي شَأْنِي ُكلَّهُ َو ََل ت َ ِك ْلنِي إلَی نَ ْف ِس ْي‬

َ َ‫ط ْرفَة‬
ِِ ‫عي ِْن‬ ْ َ ‫ْث أ‬
ُ ‫ي َيا قَيُّو ُم ِب َر ْح َمتِ َك أَ ْست َ ِغي‬
ُّ ‫َيا َح‬
Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom bi Rahmatika astagheeth
Aslih lee sha’nee kullahu wa laa takilni ilaa nafsi tarfata ‘ayn

O Ever Living One, O Self-Sustaining One, by You Mercy do I ask for your support in setting all
my affairs right. Do not leave me to my soul for so much as a the blink of an eye.

Du’a of Ibn Masud

‫ ِفي أ َ ْعلَى‬،‫سلَّ َم‬ َ ُ‫صلَّى هللا‬

َ ‫علَ ْي ِه َو‬ ِّ ‫ َو ُم َرافَقَةَ النَّ ِب‬،ُ‫ َو َن ِعي ًما ََل َي ْنفَد‬،ُّ‫الل ُه َّم ِإ ِنِّي أَسْأَلُ َك ِإي َمانًا ََل َي ْرتَد‬
َ ِ‫ي‬
‫ َجنَّ ِة ْال ُخ ْلد‬، ‫ف ْال َجنَّ ِة‬ِ ‫غ َر‬ ُ َ

Allahumma Inni As'aluka Imaanan Laa Yartad, Wa Na'eeman Laa Yanfad Wa Muraafaqatan
Nabiyy SallAllahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam, Fee A'laa Ghurafil-Jannah, Jannatil-Khuld.

O Allah, I ask you for such Imaan that does not waver and tranquility that does not diminish and
the companionship of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in highest stations of
everlasting Jannah.

Du’a by Fudayl ibn ‘Iyyadh

 ‫ فَأ َ ِ ِّد ْبهُ أ َ ْنتَ ِلي‬، ‫علَى ت َأْدِيبِ ِه‬
َ ‫ فَلَ ْم أ َ ْقد ِْر‬، ‫ع ِليًّا‬ َ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم إِنِِّي اجْ ت َ َهدْتُ أ َ ْن أ ُ َؤ ِد‬
َ ‫ِّب‬

O Allah, I have tried hard to discipline my son Ali, but I haven’t been able to discipline
him, so discipline him for me.

The Struggle (In the Cause Of Allah) - mujaahada

‫الر ْشد‬
ُّ ‫علي‬ َ ‫َاللَّ ُه َّم ِإ ِنِّي أ َ ْسأَلُك الث َّ َب‬
َ َ‫ات ِفي ْاِل َ ْم ِر وأَ ْسأَلُك ال َع ِز ْي َمة‬
Allaahumma inni as’aluka-thabaata fi’l-amri, wa as’aluka ‘azeemata ’alar’rushd

O Allah, I ask you for steadfastness in this matter, and I ask You for the resolve to adhere to the
path of guidance

Urging increasing good actions in later part of life

‫ب ْاْل ِخ َرة‬
ِ ‫ع َذا‬ ِ ‫عاقِبَتَنَا فِي ْاِل ُ ُم‬
َ ‫ور ُك ِلِّ َها َوأ َ ِج ْرنَا ِم ْن ِخ ْزي ِ ال ُّد ْنيَا َو‬ َ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم أَ ْح ِس ْن‬
Allāhum'ma aḥsin 'āqibatanā fil umūri kul'lihā wa ajirnā min khiz-yid'dunyā wa ‘adhābil ākhira.

O Allāh make our end better in all affairs, and save us from the disgrace in this life and the
torment of the hereafter.

Numerous ways of doing good

َ ‫ َو َما قَ َّر‬،َ‫َاللَّ ُه َّم ِإ ِنِّي أ َ ْسأَلُ َك ْال َجنَّة‬

َ ‫ب إِلَ ْي َها ِم ْن قَ ْو ٍل أَ ْو‬
‫ع َمل‬
“O Allah I ask you for Jannah & for every statement or action that brings me close to it”
