(1) Only the pilot (or #1) ADDU will be provided with a temperature probe interface. The
copilot (or #2) ADDU will obtain temperature information from serial data input. Refer
to paragraph 3.3.6.2.2 of 1R-80130-16.
(2) Refer to paragraph 3.3.3.3.1.8 of 1R-80130-16.
(3) Message Input applies to the availability of entire serial input message (per paragraph
3.3.5.1.3 of 1R-80130-16). ADDU outputs are unaffected by the validity of the serial
Pressure Altitude, Baro-Corrected Altitude, Altitude Rate, True Airspeed, Static Air
Temperature, Indicated Airspeed, and Mach Number data. Refer to paragraph
3.3.5.1.8 of 1R-80130-16 regarding the Installation Configuration Valid status.
(4) Refer to paragraph 3.3.5.1.8 of 1R-80130-16.
(5) This column reflects the effect on outputs only if indicated airspeed is less than 40
knots. If indicated airspeed is greater than 40 knots, then an invalid selection of Install.
Config. Jumpers or invalid/missing Configuration Module shall be handled per
paragraph 3.4.5 of 1R-80130-16.
(6) For this condition, a fault code is also written into memory as per paragraph 3.4.1 of
1R-80130-16.
@ Only when ADDU is a 'Master' ADDU. If a 'Slave' then no effect.
# Only when ADDU is a 'Slave' ADDU. If a 'Master', then no effect.
* Not affected if zero SSEC (no correction) selected by Installation Configuration input
(wire jumpers).
** Applies to certain CPU faults only. Refer to paragraph 3.4.1.4 of 1R-80130-16.
*** The COM flag and the 'A' legend are only displayed if enabled by the installation
configuration strapping per IS&S 1G-80130-16.
+ Affects the #1 (Pilot) unit only.
++ Affects the #2 (Copilot) unit only.
% A STBY flag could also be caused by an impact pressure overrange condition. If this
is the case, correcting the overpressure condition and cycling power to the ADDU will
turn OFF the STBY flag.
WARNING:
Ensure that power remains off during all steps of ADDU replacement.
CAUTION:
CAUTION:
These procedures detail the steps required for replacement of the ADDU and do not
include or recommend any equipment repair or disassembly being performed on the
instrument while on-board the aircraft. Please note the following:

NOTE
The 9D-80130-16/9D-80130-39 does not require
forced air cooling.
Table A-1 lists the jumper configurations defining the INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION
installed on the aircraft. The INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION signal indicates the jumper
configurations of the J1 mating connector using 1's & 0's. A 1 indicates no jumper is connected to
the pin and a 0 indicates the pin is jumpered to the INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION RETURN
(pin J1-W). All unlisted jumper settings are reserved and should not be used. Table 1-1 provides
J1 connector pin assignment information on the component signals INSTALLATION
CONFIGURATION A through INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION E, INSTALLATION
CONFIGURATION PARITY & INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION RETURN making up the
INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION signal. For more information on the INSTALLATION
CONFIGURATION signal, refer to subsection 3-6 in this document as well as the Interface Control
Document 1G-80130-16 (see signal INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION 004A).
