In the past module you’ve learned why we should ask for forgiveness every time we commit mistakes.
This time, let us try to learn something deeper than a simple mistake, let’s learn why people commit crimes and
what things God taught us to follow.
II. INTERACTION
A. Learning Activities
God did not only call individuals, but also a whole nation to a relationship with Him. God’s plan, as early
as the creation, was to form a people He could call His own.
ACTIVITY A. 1
Jacob’s descendants prospered in Egypt. Under the care of Joseph who was a powerful and wealthy
government official. The Israelite families thrived and continued to multiply.
When the pharaoh had dies, he was succeeded by Rameses II. He treated the Israelites even more
harshly. The Israelites continued their backbreaking labor to build monuments for Rameses II, they cried
out to God for help. God responded by calling Moses.

Directions: Read and evaluate the objections of Moses from God’s call. Answer the following:

III. INTEGRATION
A. Transfer of Learning
God set the terms of the covenant by giving Israel His fundamental law, the Ten Commandments,
are God’s moral commands on how the Israelites were to live as God’s people. The Ten Commandments
were the core of the covenant between God and His people.

God revealed Himself to the Israelites as the Lord of history and as a Savior who gives
His people true freedom and a better life. Having entered into a covenant of friendship with His
people, God remained faithful to them and provided them with their needs even if were times
when they become unfaithful to Him.
