Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
CAUTION
• If you solder the joints during installation of the faucet, the seats, cartridges and washers must be
removed before using a flame or the warranty will be voided on these parts.
• Cover the sink drain to avoid losing parts.
WARNING
• Protect your eyes with safety glasses when cutting or soldering water supply lines.
• When making water line connections, HAND TIGHTEN. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Do not use
PTFE pipe tape, plumber’s putty, pipe dope or any other type of sealing compound on water inlet
or threads. Additional compound is unnecessary. A watertight seal between the thread inlet and
supply tube is achieved by compression.

PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to
assemble the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts. You could also contact us at

Estimated Assembly Time: 30 minutes
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Adjustable Wrench, Slip Joint Pliers, Pipe Wrench, Phil-
lips Screwdriver, Silicone, and Supply Lines.
Installation may vary depending on how the previous faucet was installed. Supplies necessary
for the installation of the faucet are not all included; however, they are available wherever plumbing
supplies are sold.
Prior to beginning installation, turn off the hot and cold water lines, then turn on the old faucet to
release built-up pressure. When installing the new faucet, hand tighten the connector nuts. DO
NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Connections that are too tight will reduce the integrity of the system.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Shut off the water at the supply valves under the sink
or at the main water supply. Disconnect the supply 1
lines. Remove the existing faucet from the sink.
Clean and dry the surface area where the new faucet
will be mounted.

2. Unscrew the quick connector (2.1) from the end of the

spray hose (2.2) by turning it in a counterclockwise 2
direction. Remove the preassembled lock nut (AA)
and washer (BB) from the shank (2.3) on the faucet
body (A). A

3. To install with the optional deckplate for a 3-hole sink,

skip to Step 4. 3

Before installation, make sure the flange (3.1) is on the
bottom of the faucet body (A). Pull the spray hose (3.2) A
up through the faucet body (A) until the end of the hose 3.2
is flush with the bottom of the shank (3.3) on the faucet
body (A). Do not pull the fitting on the bottom of the 3.1
spray hose (3.2) past the shank (3.3). Carefully insert the
water supply lines (3.4) on the faucet body (A) through 3.3

4. OPTIONAL DECKPLATE INSTALLATION:

The optional deckplate (B) and gasket (C) cannot be

installed with the flange (4.1) on the bottom of the A
faucet body (A). Remove the flange (4.1) from the 4.2
faucet body (A).
Apply a thin bead of silicone to the underside of the
gasket (C). Place the gasket (C) and deckplate (B) over
the mounting holes in the sink, aligning the center hole 4.3 4.1
in the gasket (C) and deckplate with the center mounting
hole in the sink. Pull the spray hose (4.2) up through the 4.4
faucet body (A) until the end of the hose is flush with the

bottom of the shank (4.3) on the faucet body (A). Do not
pull the fitting on the bottom of the spray hose (4.2) past C
the shank (4.3). Carefully insert the water supply lines
(4.4) through the hole in the deckplate (B), gasket (C),
and the mounting hole in the sink until the faucet sits
on top of the deckplate (B).
NOTE: Do not feed the spray hose (4.2) back through
the spout (4.5) and faucet body (A) until step 6.

5. From underneath the sink, secure the faucet body (A) to

the sink using the washer (BB) and lock nut (AA). 5
NOTE: It is helpful to have a second person hold the
faucet in place while tightening the lock nut. A

6. After inserting the tubes (6.1) through the hole in the

sink, pull the spray hose (6.2) back down through the 6
faucet body (A). Loosen the cover on the weight (D)
and slide it onto the spray hose until it is positioned at
the location indicated, then hand tighten the cover by
turning it in a clockwise direction. Attach the quick A
connector (6.3) by screwing it onto the end of the
spray hose (6.2) in a clockwise direction. Hand
tighten only.

7. Push the quick connector (7.1) on the end of the spray

hose (7.2) into the quick connect coupling (7.3) on 7
the quick connect sprayer outlet (7.4). Give the spray A
hose (7.2) a tug to ensure the coupling is connected.
If it is necessary to disconnect the spray hose (7.2)
from the faucet, squeeze the tabs on the side spray
quick connect outlet (7.4) and pull down on the quick 7.4
connector (7.1) on the spray hose (7.2) to disconnect.

8. Attach one end of each of the water supply lines onto

the shanks (8.1) on the faucet body (A), with hot water 8
on the left and cold water on the right. Use 1/2 in. IPS
faucet connections (6.2) or supply line coupling nuts 8.1
(8.3) with 3/8 in. OD ball-nose risers (8.4).
NOTE: Do not reuse existing supply lines. When
installing new water supply lines, please refer to the 8.4
supply line manufacturer's installation instructions.

Tighten the supply line connections using two wrenches. 8.3
Place the first wrench on the shank on the tube (8.1)
to hold it in place while tightening the supply line with
the second wrench. This will help prevent twisting of
the tubing. Do not overtighten. Repeat for the second
tube and supply line. Use caution when tightening the
connections, as the lines can crimp or break, causing
a leak.

9. Attach each of the remaining ends of the water supply

lines (9.1) to the hot and cold water shut-off valves 9
(9.2) and tighten with a wrench. Do not overtighten. 9.1

10. Once the installation is complete, remove the spray

head (10.1) from the spray hose (10.2) to flush the 10
water lines. Do not lose the gaskets (10.3) from inside
the spray hose (10.2). Turn on the water supply and
allow both hot and cold water to run for at least one
minute to flush away any debris that could cause 10.2
damage to internal parts. While the water is running, A
check for leaks. If a leak occurs, gently tighten the nut

on the connection that is leaking. Turn off the water
and screw the spray head (10.1) back onto the spray
hose (10.2).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The lever handle controls the flow of hot and cold water to the faucet. Rotate the handle out and forward
for cold water. Rotate the handle out and backward for hot water. Moving the handle outward opens the
cartridge and causes water to flow from the spout. The degree of handle opening determines the volume
of water flow. Returning the handle to the original position toward the faucet body stops the flow of water.
CARE AND CLEANING
Clean periodically with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, and harsh chemicals as these
will dull the finish and void your warranty.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If a faucet installation doesn't deliver water properly or leaks, finding the cause and fixing it can be easy.

 INFORMACIÓN DE SEGURIDAD

PRECAUCIÓN
• Si suelda las juntas durante la instalación del grifo, se deben retirar los asientos, los cartuchos y
las arandelas antes de usar la llama. De lo contrario, se anulará la garantía de dichas piezas.
• Cubra el desagüe para evitar que se pierdan piezas.
ADVERTENCIA
• Proteja los ojos con gafas de seguridad al cortar o soldar las líneas de entrada de agua.
• Al realizar la conexiones de la tubería de agua, APRIETE A MANO. NO APRIETE DEMASIADO.
No use cinta para tubería de PTFE, masilla de plomero, aditivos para tubos ni ningún otro
compuesto sellador en entradas de agua o roscas. No necesita compuestos adicionales. Se logra
un sellado hermético entre la entrada roscada y la tubería de suministro mediante compresión.

5. Desde debajo del fregadero, asegure el cuerpo del
grifo (A) al fregadero con la arandela (BB) y la tuerca de 5
seguridad (AA).
NOTA: es útil que una segunda persona sostenga el A
grifo en su lugar mientras aprieta.

6. Después de insertar los tubos (6.1) a través del orificio 6

del fregadero, tire de la manguera del rociador (6.2)

tapa del peso (D) y deslícela sobre la manguera del
rociador (6.2) hasta que se coloque en el lugar A

pulg. de diámetro externo (8.4).

NOTA: no reutilice las líneas de entrada existentes. Al
instalar nuevas líneas de entrada de agua, consulte 8.2

las instrucciones de instalación del fabricante de la
línea de entrada.
Apriete las conexiones de la línea de entrada con dos
llaves inglesas. Coloque la primera llave inglesa en el
vástago del tubo (8.1) para mantenerlo en su lugar
mientras aprieta la línea de entrada con la segunda
llave inglesa. Esto ayudará a prevenir la torsión de
las tuberías. No apriete demasiado. Repita el proceso
para la segunda tubería y la línea de entrada. Tenga
cuidado al apretar las conexiones, ya que los tubos
pueden ondularse o romperse y provocar una fuga.

9. Conecte cada uno de los extremos restantes de las

líneas de entrada de agua (9.1) a las válvulas de 9
cierre de agua fría y caliente (9.2), y apriete con una 9.1
llave inglesa. No apriete demasiado.

10. Una vez completada la instalación, retire el cabezal del

rociador (10.1) de la manguera del rociador (10.2) para 10
descargar las tuberías de agua. No pierda la juntas (10.3)
desde el interior del manguera del rociador (10.2). Abra
el suministro de agua y deje correr el agua fría y caliente
durante al menos un minuto para eliminar cualquier 10.2
residuo que pueda dañar las piezas internas. Revise A
que no haya fugas mientras el agua corre. Si se produce
una fuga, apriete suavemente la tuerca en la conexión 10.3
que esté goteando. Cierre el agua y vuelva a enroscar
el cabezal del rociador (10.1) en la manguera del
rociador (10.2). 10.1
