Building skyscrapers in cities has benefits like making the city more modern and attracting tourism, but it also has disadvantages. While impressive buildings can improve tourism, overinvesting in them could drain city budgets needed for important facilities. A balanced approach is needed that doesn't neglect schools, hospitals, and other infrastructure for citizens' basic needs while also developing the city through construction.

Nowadays, more and more cities has been constructed by the

development of economy that now we’re building more skyscrappers. Some


might claim the role that the role of such building is necessary for citizen but
other people argues that the money for those kinds of building should be
invested to other facitlities. For me, I believe that there are some strong
arguments for both viewpoints which are discussed in this essay.
We will discuss first about the benefit of building it, having more impressive
buildings in a city not only make the city more modern but also successful in
drawing attention to get attracted from the tourists in other countries. This will
make the tourism industry become more developed, leading to the improvement
of the city.
On the other hand, we have the disadvantage of building it. Investing on it too
much may lead to the situation that running out of city budget. It will soon
becoming a problem that the city don’t have enough money to improve other
facilities such as school, hospital,… Children wont be able to receive a proper
education and hospitals becoming overload, more people will be suffering from
diseases if there happened an outbreak of deadly diseases like COVID-19.
Overall, in my opinion, the government should not put aside these important
facilities without pay close attention to it and only focus on buliding more
skyscappers.
