Researchers and scientists around the world are working tirelessly to find a cure for Covid-19. While the cure remains unknown, their noble efforts in laboratories experimenting deserve recognition. A good laboratory report documents experiments objectively and systematically, showing one's lab skills and ability to analyze results, and determining a project's feasibility. Students benefit from lab activities by seeing principles applied and practicing career skills.

In the global quest to defeat the deadly CoVid-19 virus,
researchers and scientists from across the world have
joined forces to come up with an effective vaccine and to this day, the cure still remains a mystery. What wish would you like to make for our noble heroes who are tirelessly experimenting in their respective laboratories just to find a remedy to the current pandemic? THE CONTENT AND STRUCTURE OF is an objective and systematic documentation of what has taken place in a laboratory experiment. Depending on the reader’s goal, a good laboratory report indicates your ability to perform certain laboratory procedures, your ability to analyze and explain results, and/or the feasibility of continuing a particular project (for example: formulation of a new drug) or not.
In schools, laboratory activities will allow students to see how a
principle is applied in real life or to practice procedures that they will do in their future careers. Title Page Abstract Introduction Procedures Results and Discussion References Formal reports usually require a title page as some sort of cover to "dress up" the report --i.e., to give it a nice finished and professional look. But although it may appear as the first section of your laboratory report, the title page is prepared last, along with the other prefatory elements. INTRODUCTION Also called “Materials and Methods“. The procedures section presents step-by-step what has been done in order to achieve the objectives stated in the introduction. The expected contents are the following: Materials and instruments used in the experiment, including important details like measurements, settings, and models (if needed) The actions performed in the experiment Data recording and treatment (for example, counting)
Some sources suggest that results be a separate
section from the discussion. Whether they should be together or separate units may depend on your instructor —so take note of the instruction.
The Results section is expected to contain the following:
A presentation of the data usually in the form of tables and graphs Presentation of highlights of the data: such as trends, highest/lowest figures, or unexpected findings.
