Team Element-Team Project

- The project aim:


The overall project aim is to sensitize people about the risks of losing one's
culture in an international context.

- Brief description of the Outcome:


The Outcome is a power point which consists of the key definitions,
understanding the concept of cultural loss and how culture is lost in an
international context. Our overall aim of the presentation was to explain the
effect of culture loss on society and what are the leading basis of culture loss.
We first looked at the key definitions that comprise of tradition, culture and
identity. Secondly, we defined what is culture loss. Thirdly, we explored what is
meant by culture loss, how cultures coexist with one another and how
societies view globalisation a significant threat to culture loss. Fourthly, we
further talked about the effects of globalisation on culture loss and identified
the positive and negative impacts that occur in the process of culture loss.
Fifthly, we identified two main reasons of culture loss in an international
context immigration and industrialisation. We went into further detail and
explanation of the two reasons. Furthermore, we added a video to our
presentation where we partially interviewed three people, where they
answered 10 of our questions. To conclude, we talked about why culture is
disappearing and the main reasons behind it.
