ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER COMMITTEE (BPOC) OF BARANGAY


CANAWAY, KITCHARAO, AGUSAN DEL NORTE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to E.O 366 furthering amending E.O 309, S.1987 entitled “
Reorganizing the BPOC “, as amended by E.O 320. S. 1988 and E.O 20, S. of 1992 and organizing
the Barangay Peace and Order Com. As implementing arm of the city/municipal POC at the
Barangay.

NOW THEREFORE, I CHARLEMIN P. MORALES, Punong Barangay of Barangay Canaway,


Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte by virtue of the powers vested in me by law do hereby promulgate
the following order:

Section 1 : Organization
 There is hereby a organized Barangay Peace & Order Committee (BPOC) of
Barangay Canaway, Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte for CY 2023.

Section 2 : Composition
 The Organized Barangay Peace & Order Com. (BPOC) of Barangay Canaway,
Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte shall be composed of the following:

Section 3 : Duties and Function
 The Barangay Peace and Order Com. (BPOC) shall be perform the following
duties and functions :

1. Monitor and Coordinate the implementation of Peace & Order programs and
projects at the Barangay Level.
2. Serve as an information – gathering mechanism.
3. Monitor and check the nefarious activities of criminal elements.
4. Identified Barangay constituents with strong deviant behavior for referral to
appropriate authorities.
5. Maintain continuing dialogue, close coordination and rapport with the higher
levels of the peace and order and public safety councils in their area of
responsibility.
6. Monitor, Coordinate and supervise the operation of all community based anti –
crime movements within the Barangay.
7. Make periodic assessment of the prevailing peace and order situation in their
respective areas of responsibility and submit and order Council.
8. Perform such other function, which may be assigned by the higher level peace
and order councils.

Section 4 : Meeting
 The Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC) shall meet once a month or as
often as necessary.

Section 5 : Effectivity
 This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.

Done this 17th day of January, 2023 at the Office of the Punong Barangay of Barangay
Canaway, Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte, Philippines.
