Arrival Information – Fall 2023

Print this sheet and keep a copy with you when traveling. It is also advisable to leave a copy with your family.

Arrival Day: Monday, August 28, 2023

We have arranged a bus transfer from Berlin-Brandenburg International (BER) airport to the Student Residence on
August 28, 8:00am–4:00pm. NYU Berlin staff members wearing purple T-shirts will meet you in Terminal 1 (T1).

After collecting your luggage and leaving the security area of the airport, proceed to the area behind the information
desk in T1 (denoted “i” on the map shown below). If your flight arrives at Terminal 2, you will need to walk to T1 to
meet us.

If you arrive after 4:00pm or arrive at the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), you are responsible for arranging your
own transportation. Please see pages 2–3 for alternative transportation from the BER or Hauptbahnhof.

Missing Luggage
If your luggage did not arrive, complete the paperwork before you exit the arrival area. Do not proceed beyond customs
until you have completed the paperwork. You should put the address of the Student Residence (see below) and the
number of the NYU Berlin Staff-on-Call Phone (+49 162 2155 979) as the contact. Keep a copy of this paperwork.
Please notify us at [email protected] if your luggage will be delivered to the Student Residence. Should you
travel schedule change before or on arrival day or you lose your NYU ID, please email us at [email protected]
