Penglipuran village is located in Kubu, Bangli sub-district. The area is quite large and is
located at the foot of the beautiful Mount Batur at an altitude of 700 meters above the sea level.
Penglipuran traditional village is one of the tourism sites in Kintamani, about 45 km or approximately 2
hours drive from Denpasar. Penglipuran village is famous as one of the tourist destinations in Bali
because of its society who still preserve their traditional culture in their daily lives. This then becomes an
attraction for tourists to come to visit. Therefore, starting in 1993, the Balinese government promoted
Penglipuran as a tourist destination.
Penglipuran is a village that still maintains their culture, traditions and bamboo forests. The
architecture of buildings and land processing still follows the concept of Tri Hita Karana, the philosophy
of Balinese society regarding the balance of relations between God, humans and their environment. The
shape of the buildings here are almost the same, and still maintain their identity and are not touched by
modern buildings. The atmosphere of visiting is very pleasant. It feels like going back to the past where
the ancient houses lined up with the roofs, walls, and other necessities that are made from bamboo. It is
prohibited to use motorized vehicles around the village in order to maintain the air quality to keep clean
and minimally polluted.
The facilities in Penglipuran village are very complete. It has a very large parking lot that
can accommodate dozens of cars, clean toilet, and also a small shop that sells snacks and cold drinks.
Besides that, there is also a place to sell Tenganan village craft knick-knacks that the visitors can buy as
souvenirs for visiting the village.
Pandawa Beach
Pandawa Beach is located in the village of Kutuh, Sub-District of South Kuta, Badung
Regency; around 3 km from the famous Nusa Dua area and Uluwatu Temple. The location is easy to find
which will take about 45 minutes when the road is not so congested. Along the intersection, there are
directions to get to Pandawa beach, so that the visitors will not be confused to find the location.
Formerly, Pandawa Beach is a hidden and secret beach that was very difficult to access due
to its location in the deep valley and surrounded by the white stone cliff. The sand in this beach is so
white and clean which is combined with a background of turquoise sea. The ambience is still quiet,
serene, and clean. There are no garbages, and if there is any, those are only the remains of seaweed
brought by the wave. The Panorama of the beach is so beautiful and charming. With clean white sand and
bluish-green ocean water, this beach is very suitable for bathing or swimming as the waves break in the
middle of the sea. Because of its geographical location in the east of Bali Island, the visitors can also
enjoy the beautiful view of sunrise.
Another charm of Pandawa Beach is the activity of seaweed farmers along the coast. The
beach is well known as a tourist attraction and its water sport use, but it is also known as a seaweed
algaculture farm. It has a shallow long beach face that is suitable for farming seaweed by the locals.
Moreover, those who love a little bit of adventure can also partake in some recreational activities such as
canoeing, snorkeling, beach volley, jet skiing, or paragliding. There are also various restaurants around
the beach with delicious local foods and beverages.

shaped in the form of a beautiful water garden and is located near a natural spring. There are two large
ponds filled with ornamental fish. The first pool on the east side is decorated by lined up statues.
