Friday 30th September 2011 Dear Parents, All of the children enjoyed a visit today from the Footprint Trust They worked in each class with the children focussing on water and the water cycle. During Year 3s visit to the Roman Villa at Newport, a member of the public stopped Mrs Cass and said how nice it was to see all of the children being so well behaved and happy!!! Well done Year 3. National Schools Film Week is approaching soon. We have been very fortunate to obtain free tickets for our children to visit the Cinema. Year 5 and 6 will be going on 14th October to see Kung Fu Panda 2 (PG). Year 3 and 4 will see Rio (U) on the 17th October, Years 1 and 2 will be visiting the Cinema on 20th October to see Yogi Bear (U) and lastly Year R will see the Smurfs (U) on 21st October. All the showings will begin at 10.00 a.m. at Newport Cineworld Cinema. We will be walking the children there and back, returning in time for lunch so there will be no need to alter dinner arrangements. Thank You for returning your permission for walks in the local area form. If you have any queries about the visit, please see your childs class teacher. I am sure all of the children will have a wonderful time!!!.
Please remember to complete your Parent Teacher meeting form. Places fill up quickly so please return them as soon as you can to guarantee your time slot!! With Kind Regards N. Bosworth
