Task 1: Get hold of a copy of one of the following movies related to our course, Principles of Teaching. You can choose among the following:

1. Critically watch the movie you have chosen.

2. Take down notes on important aspects of the film related to our course. The note-taking process is crucial to helping students turn their viewing experience
from passive entertainment to active interaction with the film. The notes taken also provide useful information to review key scenes and reflect on what you
have watched.
3. Use the Film Study Guide in watching the movie.
SUMMARY.
Write a summary of the movie. A synopsis is a brief summary of the major points of the movie.(Note: Do not just take it from the internet, it is easy to recognize if
your synopsis is original, or not. It is justone-click away).
4. ANALYSIS. (Film Guide)
Write a short review of the movie based on the following guide questions.
 What thoughts does this movie spur in you? What does it make you think about?
 What is your emotional response to this movie? What did this movie make you feel?
 What moments, character/s, or ideas resonated with you while watching this movie? What about them? Why did you connect with them?
 What themes are present in this movie?
 What is this movie saying about our teachers?
 Why would someone want to watch this film?

 What is one good or winsome thing you could say about this movie to someone else?
 What major educational issues/ conflicts are being presented in the movie
