2) The Fire Escape Plan should not be complicated but yet provide the
necessary details for fire-fighting and evacuation.
3) Start by draw out the building layout plan which contain the common
components (Escape staircases, smoke-stop lobby, fire-fighting lobby fire
lift, passenger lift, evacuation lift etc.) which exist in most or every
floors.
a. You can use PowerPoint to draw if you don’t have AutoCAD or
REVIT software. If you like to use other method to draw the plan,
pls. propose to me for approval.
4) Distribute the building layout plan to all members who will use it to
draw out their respective floors (Add escalator, FCC, retail spaces,
parking lots etc.).
5) Discuss where to install the Fire extinguishers (FE), Manual Call
Points (MCP) and Fire Hose Reels (FHR) in the common area. i.e. these
3 components are commonly found outside the smoke stop lobby, beside
the exit staircase’s door. More infor can be found here from Fire Code

6) Draw out the Fire Escape Route in red colour, with the arrows at the
end touch the doors that lead into the escape staircase.
7) Use the template provided (ERP = FEP+APP+IPP).
8) Your project is make up of Part 1, 2, 3.

You may want to try use i.e. Google Doc to do the project online. You can take
this opportunity to adapt the new norms of communication and learn to do
project online. Learning to collaborate online is becoming a basic skill that I
strongly encourage everyone to acquire and now is the best time to learn as the
best way to learn something is to do it. There are a number of online YouTube
videos which show you how to use Google-docs. Pls. check out below YouTube

timestamps (shown below) so you can click on the timestamp and the video will
play the topic of your interest.
