1. For the beam shown, using the method of consistent deformations, determine the reactions by
considering 𝐵" as the redundant.

2. For the frame shown, determine the reactions using the method of consistent deformations.
Consider 𝐷" as the redundant. Neglect axial deformations.

3. Determine the force in each member of the truss using the method of consistent deformations.
Consider the bar force on member 𝐵𝐸 as the redundant. 𝐴𝐸 is constant.
