BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 010 SERIES OF 2019

“AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO.001-2017


ADOPTED ON APRIL 10, 2017 OTHERWISE KNOWN“AMENDED INTENSIFIED
BARANGAY WASTE SEGREGATION ORDINANCE OF 2006”

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BARANGAY 14 COUNCIL OF CAGAYAN DE ORO


CITY IN SESSION THE FOLLOWING AMMENDMENTS.

SECTION 1. TITLE. - This Ordinance shall be known as ‘“AN ORDINANCE


AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO.001-2017
ADOPTED ON APRIL 10, 2017 OTHERWISE
KNOWN“AMENDED INTENSIFIED BARANGAY WASTE
SEGREGATION ORDINANCE OF 2006”.

SECTION 2. - Section 3 of Ordinance No.001 Series of 2017 adopted on


April 10, 2017 and titled “AMENDED INTENSIFIED
BARANGAY WASTE SEGREGATION ORDINANCE OF
2006:” is amended to read:

SECTION 3. – Garbage Disposal and


Collection

a. That the prescribed schedule of garbage collection


shall be in accordance to the schedule provided by
CLENRO.

b. That the committee on Solid Waste Management


shall disseminate thru letters, posters and flyers the
said schedule to the business, commercial, private or
public establishments and residential houses.

c. That no garbage disposal shall be allowed outside of


the scheduled time to avoid infiltration and
unnecessary spillage of garbage by stray dogs and
to ensure efficient and effective collection operation.

d. That littering, throwing or dumping of garbage or


waste materials in public places such as roads,
sidewalks, canals, esteros, open spaces and parks,
or any act causing or permitting the same is
prohibited.

e. That all house owners and tenants of residential


building and owners, managers, operators,
occupants and lessees of any commercial / business
establishments, government institutions shall be
required to clean the area in front of and around their
vicinity and shall be required to provide their own
waste receptacles for efficient waste segregation.

f. That no garbage receptacle be placed along the


streets and sidewalks and other public places within
the Barangay.

g. That it shall be the duty of the house owner, lessee,


occupant, operator/manager of any
business/commercial establishment or government
institutions to dispose outside our barangay within
Seventy Two (72) hours any and all kinds of
construction debris or waste materials such as
cement, sand, gravel, lumber, steel and scrap
materials coming from construction or renovation of
their house or establishment

h. That no garbage other than the indicated materials


allowed in the Materials Recovery Facility is being
dispose by any person both constituents and
outsider of Barangay 14. The Material Recovery
Facility is solely for the recyclable materials
collected by the barangay.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVITY CLAUSE. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

SECTION 4. PUBLICATION.

This Ordinance shall be posted in conspicuous places at the


Barangay 14 area.

Adopted this 5th of July 2019 at Barangay-14, City of Cagayan de Oro, Republic of the
Philippines.
