 Totally integrated into the valve, this chlorination system can be identified only with its 2 working diodes and
with the backlight permanent display.

The chlorination is actived in the beginning of the brinning cycle and thanks to the automatic polarity inversion
there is no corrosion or scale deposit on the electrodes.

4 bar nominal pressure over a period of one year.
2) Over one year, the test has been simulated increasing current used by electronic
and drive motor. This test configuration is more severe than real conditions. Results
over one year are the minimum expected.
3) Line pressure has a very little effect on drive force up to 8 bars. This is due to perfect
pressure equilibrium of main piston in the valve. At 8 bars, motor current increases
about 5 % to 10 % only
4) Room temperature below 3°Celsius will affect total capacity of alkaline battery about
10 %
5) Self discharge of the alkaline batteries is about 3 % per year in normal conditions.
Humid atmosphere can affect the resistance to self discharge
6) Use only high quality alkaline batteries which guaranty a perfect function of the
control valve over the expected period of time.
7) Every year, during service maintenance, inspect the alkaline batteries for electrolyte
leak.
8) In any cases, change the batteries after a period of 3 years even if voltage measure
is good
9) Voltage of 2 new alkaline batteries is 3,27 volts. Change batteries when voltage is
below 2,7 volts
10) Electronic board has two safety levels regarding alkaline batteries. The first one is a
display indicator mentionning that a battery change is required. The second one is
parking the valve in Service position until the battery change. This avoids the risk of
having the piston blocked in regeneration with a continious water flow to drain.

This information is a guide line. Local conditions can affect the result. Take a safety factor in
alkaline battery change in order to guaranty a perfect functioning of the valve
