column. The second recipe is a cookie recipe. It makes 4 dozen cookies. I only want to
make 2 dozen. Half the recipe for the Double Tee Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Remember: If you want to cut the recipe in half, you divide by _2__.
Examples: 6 eggs x 1/2 = _3__ eggs
7 cups of flour x 1/2 = _3 1/2_ cups of flour

Cookies

Original Amounts Half


1 cup butter (2 sticks) ½ cup butter
¾ cup sugar 6 tablespoons sugar
¾ cup brown sugar 6 tablespoons brown sugar
2 eggs 1 egg
1 ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract 5x ⅛ teaspoon vanilla

¼ teaspoon lemon juice ⅛ teaspoon lemon juice
2 ¼ cup flour 18 tablespoons
½ cup rolled oats ¼ cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon salt
Pinch cinnamon 1/16 teaspoon cinnamon
2 ⅔ cup semisweet chocolate chips 1 ⅓ cup chocolate chips
1 ¾ cup chopped walnuts 14 tablespoons

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
2. Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl on medium speed for about 2 minutes
3. Add eggs, vanilla and lemon juice, blending with the mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, then
medium for 2 minutes until light and fluffy. Scraping down bowl.
4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, oats, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
5. Slowly add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture adding about ½ cup at a time.
6. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
7. Scoop dough out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper about 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 15-18 minutes,or until the edges are golden brown and the center is still soft.
9. Remove from the oven and cool on baking sheet for about 1 hour
