TD Esc 02 de en 16 015 Rev000 Folding Down The E Module 3.20 Platform

This document provides guidance on folding down the E-module 3.20 platform for wind turbine towers. It notes that folding down the platforms could cause issues for subsequent work steps in some tower types due to lack of space for a man basket. It identifies five specific tower types where the platforms should not be folded down, as that step will instead be performed later by grid connection technicians. Contact information is provided for technical service dispatch and the concrete engineering department for any questions.

Technical Information
Folding down the E-module 3.20 platform

1 General information
Folding down the E-module 3.20 platform may cause problems with the subsequent work steps in
some tower types.
The space between the interior tower wall and the platform is not wide enough for a man basket to
pass.
For this reason, the platforms of the E-module 3.20 should not be folded down in the following
tower types:

E-101 BF/97/17/01
E-92 BF/102/17/01
E 92 BF/102/17/02
E-82 E2 BF/107/23/05
E-82 E3 BF/107/23/05

This step will be performed by Grid Connection technicians later on.
