Self Introduction

SELF INTRODUCTION
Learning the Second Language is important as it is essential to every aspect and interaction in our
everyday lives. The arrival of a new academic year brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to
students, teachers and parents (although in a different way) and it is high time to practise self
introductions. Here, two ways of introducing oneself - in educational atmosphere and for career,
are presented for practice as both are indispensable in one’s life.

Self Introduction

Take the following communication as an example:

Greetings: Hi, everyone it’s my pleasure to introduce myself I am George . I was born and
raised in Rajahmundry but I am staying now in Guntur. Coming to my family I have beautiful
family of five members. My father is retired government employ and my mother is a home
maker. I have one brother and one sister and both of them working in different MNCS.

As far as my education concerned I have completed my batchelors from Geetham college in


vizag and I did my intermediate from J.B.J.C in Nellore district, I had schooling from Z.P.H.S
Rajahmundry. Coming to my skills I have an indepth knowledge in my core subjects, I am good
at cooking/ I am a good cricket player/ I can paint well/ I am good at art/ I sing well. My
achievements are I was selected as my class representative in my college, I got a medal in
national athletic meet, and I got a certificate in state level singing compitetion.

Coming to my strengths, I am good listener as well as good learner. I can do hard work to
achieve my targets in time. I am self confident /positive attitude/patience/ hard worker/smart
worker/ self motivative. I don’t like to say my weakness but I like to say scope for improvement
that is I won’t leave any task incompletely. I believe in myself and my hard work and I want to
perfection in everything.

My role model is A.P.J. Abdul kalam sir because of his effective use of time and the way
succeeded in his life.

Coming to my hobbies playing cricket / reading books /gardening / listening to music. Finally
coming to my goals, my short term goal is get placed in reputed company and my long term goal
is I want to start a trust to child orphans. That’s all about me thanks a million.
