1.Workbook
A spreadsheet file is called workbook, having many individual
worksheets.
Worksheet
Excel allows to organize data in rows and columns, are collectively
called worksheets.
2. Row heading
A number identifies each row, begin with 1 and end with 1048576
Column heading
A letter identifies each column, begin with A and end with XFD.
3. Undo feature
It helps to undo the last changes made to the workbook.
Redo feature
It will reverse the results of using the undo feature.
4. Moving Data
Moving means the data disappears from the original location and
appear in the new location.
Copying Data
Copying means the data can appear in both the original location
and new location.

1. Microsoft Excel is a powerful spreadsheet program that allows you
to organize and maintain data, complete calculations and represent
data in graphs.
2. The default row height is 15.00(in points) and column width is
8.43(in characters)
3. Formatting displays the worksheet in an attractive, more legible,
presentable, professional and polished look.
4. Borders can be added to the cells for separating the data from
surrounding cells.

F Answer Briefly
1.Edit and Format data, Using formula and functions, Print

2. Alignment means the way in which the data is settled within the
Boundary of a cell. We can align the data horizontally – align left,
center, align left and vertically-Top align, Middle align, bottom align.
3. Conditional formatting feature to assign certain formatting, only
when the value of the cell meets the specified condition.
