SureFit® Weight Options
Titleist Metals feature the ability to change the SureFit® weight in order to modify swingweight.
Our fitting research shows that headweight has a significant influence on feel and that golfer

7-Iron Landing Angle Guidance
A launch monitor that accurately measure the landing angle of the ball makes this process easy.
The range of ideal landing angles allows for player preference and local course conditions.

Longest Playable Iron

Each iron in a player’s set should provide sufficient green stopping ability and appropriate
distance gapping between clubs. This can be accomplished through a few methods during the
fitting process:
• Spacing ball speed gaps evenly – at least 5 mph between irons
• Maintaining a consistent peak height between long irons and the 7-iron
• Evaluating landing angles – long iron landing angle should be no lower than the 7-iron
It’s best to test multiple long game options with the golfer and use launch monitor data to help
make decisions. The following table lists the most common long iron replacement options based
upon the golfer’s 7-iron model. For more detailed information, consult our Fitting Manual or the
Iron Fitting Principles course on Titleist University. http://titleistuniversity.com
Directions: Select the row with the recommended 7-iron model and try the options listed. To
fine-tune ball speed, peak height, or descent angle you can adjust iron loft or use the SureFit
hosel to adjust Hybrids and Fairways.

Bounce and Grind Selection
Having different grind options in your wedge set will create more versatility and improve your
shotmaking for various lies and turf conditions.
We suggest you use our Wedge Fitting App to guide a player through a 15-minute process that
hits various shots and arrives at a wedge grind and loft recommendation.
