WHY BUSINESSES NEED TO USE PRODUCT ANALYSIS ?

❖ Product Analysis Is Necessary as It Allows You To Understand the Target

Market for Your Product.

know what they want. Product analysis helps you figure out the needs
and wants of your target market. This is essential to creating a successful
product.

❖ Product Analysis Is Also Necessary Because It Allows You To Understand

Your Competition.

To create a successful product, you need to know what your

competition is doing. Product analysis helps you understand the
strengths and weaknesses of your competition. This knowledge will help
you make decisions about improving upon their products and give you
an edge in the market.

❖ Product Analysis Is Necessary as It Allows You To Understand the Costs

Associated With Making and Selling Your Product.
In case you are unaware of how much it costs to make a product, you
won’t be able to deal with it for a profit. Product analysis helps you
understand all of the costs involved in creating and selling a product.

about your competitors' products to understand their strengths and
weaknesses, as well as their strategies. This information can be used to
improve your own product or service, as well as your marketing and
sales efforts

STEPS INVOLVED IN COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS :

◆ Define your goals: What do you hope to achieve by conducting the

competitive product analysis? Do you want to improve your
product, your marketing strategy, or both?

◆ Identify your competitors: Who are your main competitors? What

products or services do they offer? What are their strengths and
weaknesses?

◆ Collect data: Collect data about your competitors' products, prices,

target markets, marketing strategies, and other relevant
information.

◆ Analyze the data: Analyze the data to identify opportunities to

improve your own product or service.

◆ Develop a plan: Develop a plan to implement the changes that you

have identified.

◆ Monitor your results: Monitor your results to see if the changes

have had the desired effect.
