Find the value of cos (–1710°). ?

Solution
We know that values of cos x repeats after
an interval of 2π or 360°.

Therefore,
=cos (–1710°)
= cos (–1710° + 5 × 360°)
= cos (–1710° + 1800°)
= cos 90°
= 0.
Find sin 765°?

Solution:

We know that the values of sin x repeat

after an interval of 360°.

Therefore we can write,

=sin 765°
=sin (2 × 360° +45°)
=sin45°
=1/√2

Find the value of the trigonometric function cosec (-1410⁰) ?

Solution:

We know that the values of cosec x repeat after

an interval of 270° or 360°.

Therefore we can write,

=cosec (-1410°)
=cosec (-1410° +4 ×360°)
=cosec (-1410° +1440°)
=cosec30°
=2

If Sec 4θ = Cosec (θ + 20°) , then θ is equal to:

SOLUTION :

4θ+ θ + 20° = 90,

θ = 14°
If Tanθ = Cot (θ +45°) , then θ is equal to:

SOLUTION :

θ+ θ + 45° = 90,
θ = 22.5°

If Sin7θ = Cos (13θ - 45°) , then θ is equal to:

SOLUTION :

7θ+ 13θ - 45° = 90,

θ = 6.75°
