This klt eontains a gated pulse fioto.r control.l.er. When properl.y i.nsta-llect to
a single speed teslie tone cabinet, lt provides two speed operations (Slow and
Fast).
IN"STALLATIQN
3. If your Leslie has a PIug In Brake, remove it. If ygur Leslie has a
built in Brake, proceed to step 4. ff your Leslie has no brake,

4. Renove the oingle retaining screw that holds in the amplifier 1n and
sarefully remove the aurplifier.
5. Taking care not to damaqe the tubes, turn the amplifier over and
focate the motor relav.

Reinstai] the Amplifier Chassis, taking care not to let the tubes hit
the lower motor-
8. Unplug the LesJ.ie motor{s) from the amplifier sockets.
9. Install the controller, using the 4 screws provided, in a location
that will allow the plugs to reach t h e T , c q li c e m n l i f i e r sockets.
10. PIug the urrmarkeLl plug into one of the sock€ts formerly occupied by

L2. Plug each rftotor into the inline outlets of the motor controller.
13- Route the cables frorn the middle compartment t.o the lower compartment
using the slot where the original motor cables !.iere
14, Check tha.t D1Pswitch on the controller is set so that 1 & '1 are off
and2&3areon.
15. Reinstall the upper, middle, and fower backs.
16. Reconnect the cables and test for proper operation.
The 4 control switches are encoded in binary. Don't. v{orry if 5zou donit krrot
what that ft€insr simply follsw the chart below. Those who dc' understand
binary codinq should still ccnsult this section, as it explains some of the
unpred:ctable results you can expect from some settings.

turned on less frequentlv.
The systern alsc runs on a 120 cycle clock, when coordinated with the pcwer
iine, this ean resule iR eeriajn settinqs that seeft to not fit the general
pattern. The worst offender is setting L, where the motor ends up fighting
it's self and ae a result turning VERY slonly.
The "Effect" cclumn below should be used as a general guide. It shows the

vary your results. Once you have determined the correct setting, no further
adjustrnents wr1l be necessary.
