Syllabus

This document outlines the units and topics covered in a fluid mechanics course at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya in Bhopal, India. The five units cover fluid properties, fluid statics, kinematics of flow, dynamics of flow, laminar flow, dimensional analysis, and turbulent flow. Measurement techniques like the Pitot tube, orifices, and weirs are also discussed. The course references several fluid mechanics textbooks and lists experimental exercises covering areas like pressure measurement, flow calibration, and pump characteristics.
