C) Mobilization & Preparation

1. Site Visit (2 days before operation day)


 Supervisor with the team perform site visit to the working area to identify actual
requirement for the work.
 Identify supporting work to execute the work - power supply
 Identify the best method to start the work.
 Identify obstruction and take proper action to eliminate obstruction

2. Preparation of work (2 days before operation day)


 Inspect all electrical equipment
 JSA and JMS approved

3. Mobilization work (1 day before operation day)


 Mobilize equipment, tools and material to the site
 Secure all item at safe place.
 Finalize the manpower – safety induction
 Finalize the documentation – Method of statement, permits and etc
 Final discussion with PT2’s PIC for the operation.
 Transfer all inspected tools, equipment and machinery to the job area.

D) Job Steps

 Applying permit to work


 Power off for the motor system. Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) system for the power supply to
the motor system.
 Remove existing motor, wiring, gear plate, junction box and other accessories
 Install new motor, junction box and other accessories
 Wiring work to the new motor and junction box.
 For new junction box to use existing cable gland - coming from bottom of the junction box
 Install new gear plate - welding work required
 Touch - up paint and tighten all bolts
 De-LOTO for the motor system.
 Test run
 Housekeeping work
