Museo de Oro Museum is a historical building not just in Cagayan de Oro City but the entire

Region 10. For a long time, museums have played a crucial role in keeping the history of our
civilization intact. Exhibits provide us with information about the history of our nation, our towns,
as well as our cultures, and without them, history may as well be lost. The Xavier University
museum was really a great place to learn about the history and culture of our ancestors most
notably during the colonization period of countries such as Spain, Japan and America. up to
present, and the indigenous peoples customs, weaponries etc. Visiting the museum was really
a great pleasure because the historical paintings and some historical artifacts that have been
preserved are inside the building. The youth must know and understand the message of every
artwork.

Inside the campus of Xavier University, I reflected on the wonderful chance of being able to visit
the renowned Museo de Oro. Collectibles and antiques from a range of topics and eras are
shown in the museum's numerous divisions. As we got closer to each historical exhibit in the
museum, I saw a lot of priceless and fascinating artwork, artifacts, sculptures, texts, rock-cut
weapons, and other things. On the second floor, military gear from various historical eras is on
exhibit. Weapons like swords, spears, sheets, shields, and helmets were available. We were
ecstatic to see our nation's heroes and heroines. Numerous things motivated us and in a sense,
instilled with a sense of pride.I would like to thank our Socio-Cultural Instructor, Professor
Eduave, for giving us a timely yet learning experience to visit Xavier Museum. This museum trip
improved our learning and knowledge. It has left me with a strong and enduring memory. In
essence, the whole exhibit represented a miniature Philippines from various eras. It revealed
profound yet historical revelations and insights about people's lives and literary works.
