Bharati Vidyapeeth, the parent organization of this University is one of the largest educational

OUR CAMPUSES

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) has campuses in Pune, Mumbai, Solapur,

Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad and New Delhi, the capital city of India. Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to
be University) has two campuses in Pune, one is on Pune-Satara Road and another in Erandwane,
in the heart of the city. The campus on Pune- Satara Road is situated on a sprawling 75 acres of
land. Architectually well-designed buildings on this campus house are Medical, Dental, Ayurved,
Engineering, Homoeopathic Colleges and Bharati Hospital besides other colleges. Our Arts,
Science, Commerce, Pharmacy, Law and a few other colleges are located in the Erandwane
Campus. Hostel facilities with modern amenities are provided separately for the girls and boys in

3. Duration of the Post Graduate Diploma Course – 02years

4. Eligibility for Admission

a) A graduate degree in Ayurved of any university/statutory body approved by National
Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM)and qualified in the AIAPGET 2022.
b) The applicant should complete his / her rotating internship training on or before 31 st
December 2022.
c) The candidate should possess a permanent registration with any State Medical Council in
India or Central Council of Indian Medicine. If he does not have the same he will be
required to obtain such registration within one month after admission to the P.G. course,
failing which admission to P.G. course will be cancelled.
5. Basis of Selection
The selection shall be made strictly on the basis of rank obtained by eligible candidate in
AIAPGET 2022.

7. A) The allotment of the subject will be done as per merit and depending upon the
availability of seat in a particular subject at the time of counseling of the candidate.

B) Candidate desirous of seeking admission under Institutional Quota has to pay the
Institutional Category fees as mentioned in the Brochure.

List of Documents required at the time of counseling & spot Admission

All candidates are required to produce original and the two sets of duly self-attested photocopies
of the following documents at the time of counseling. The selected candidates will be required to
pay the entire amount of annual fee on the day of counseling itself. (Through Bank Demand Draft
drawn in the name of “The Principal, BVDU, College of Ayurved, Pune” payable at Pune). In
case the candidate fails to remit the entire amount of fees, he/she is likely to lose his/her claim
for admission to that seat.

FEE STRUCTURE

The candidate selected for admission will have to pay the following annual fees on the day of

COUNSELING AND ON-THE-SPOT-ADMISSION SESSION

1. The counseling and on-the-spot admission session will be held at the Bharati Vidyapeeth
(Deemed to be University) College of Ayurved, Pune-Satara Road, Pune-411 043 on the day
and time mentioned in the Calendar of events.

2. Only the candidate and one parent/guardian will be allowed into the hall where counseling
is held. The candidates will be called in the order of their merit and offered the seats
available at that point in time. The candidate will be permitted to choose any of the seats
available when his/her turn comes.

3. When all the seats in a given specality subject/course are filled, admission of students to
that specality subject/course will instantaneously cease and Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to
be University) will not be responsible for non-availability of the seats and non-allotment to
the rest of the candidates.

4. At the time of reporting for the counseling, the candidate is required to produce the
documents (original and two sets of photocopies) listed above in list of documents required
at the time of counseling and spot admission. If the candidate is admitted to any of the
courses, these documents will be retained by the University till he/she completes the
branch. If the candidate fails to produce the documents listed, he/she will instantaneously
forfeit his/her claim for a seat.

5. Physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is mandatory. In case, if the candidate
unable to attend counseling due to his/her health problem. He/She may send his/her
representative to attend counseling along with letter of authority with mentioning choice of
his/her specality subject/course. The choice of specality subject/course made by the
representative/candidate is final and binding and will not be altered later under any
circumstances. The format of letter of authority is attached as Annexure-I

6. The candidates who have come for counseling will have to finalise the admission by payment
of fees on the spot. Failure to attend the counseling or to pay the fees on spot and
submission of all necessary documents will result in automatic forfeiture of the claim of the
candidates for the selection.

7. The selected candidate will have to join as full time resident immediately and will not be
permitted to do any other job. If he fails to join the course within 15 days of the selection,
his admission will automatically get cancelled and he will not be entitled for any refund of
fees.

8. Any legal matters arising out of the total admission process of Post Graduate Diploma
courses through Merit List of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune-30 and it
will be under the Jurisdiction of courts at Pune, Maharashtra.

REFUND OF FEES

In case of cancellation of Admission the Refund policy will be as follows:

Rules regarding cancellation of admission and refund of fee will be as per UGC norms; kindly
refer to the Notice Board at the time of counseling.

DIFFERENCE OF OPINION DISPUTE WITH REGARD TO RULES

Differences of opinion and disputes arising in the interpretation and implementation of the
clauses in this brochure, if any, will be referred to the Vice-Chancellor of the Bharati Vidyapeeth
(Deemed to be University), Pune and his decision shall be final and binding.

The admission process is subject to the final decision of the Govt. of India, Honorable courts and
National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) New Delhi.

The students and the parents will have to submit the printouts of anti-ragging undertaking

This has to be submitted online immediately after the conformation of the admission.

Note:

As per the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India Order No. SLP(C) No. 24295/2004 and SLP
No. 143656/2005, WP (C) No. 173/2006 and SLP(C) No. 24296-24299/2004 all the students are
hereby informed the following.

“If any incidents of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned students shall
be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory the authority would
expel him from the institution.”
