Using MasterControl in a cloud environment


eliminates the need to set up and maintain all the IT
components necessary to operate an on-premises
infrastructure. Solutions are deployed through the
internet, which means you only need a minimal
amount of system hardware and software to access
and use all the MasterControl functionality.

Client-Side Infrastructure Requirements


Your client-side (front-end) infrastructure requirements consist of your
computer workstations and necessary network software, which includes
the web browsers and third-party applications you need for your business
functions. The sections below list the software required for deploying
MasterControl Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.

Hardware/Software Recomended Requirements

Processor 1x logical

Memory 2 GB RAM

Network Connection Speed 100 Mbps

Operating System Windows

Browsers:
Software Minimum Requirements

Browser • Microsoft Edge


• Mozilla Firefox
• Google Chrome (Prefered Browser)

Notes • Implementing browser updates may affect the appearance of MasterControl’s interface,
but not the functionality.
• Companies doing business in regulatory environments should disable the browser’s
password-saving feature for MasterControl.
• It is recommended that you enable the browser’s latest security protocol.

Third-Party Products:
Software Minimum Requirements

Microsoft Office • 2013 or greater (Note that Microsoft 365 is a requirement for real-time collaboration.)

Adobe • Adobe Reader and Adobe Reader DC (Document Cloud)

Notes • Updated Third-Party Products:


Implementing updated versions of Adobe and/or Microsoft products may affect the
performance of certain functionality. It is recommended that you postpone third-party
application upgrades until MasterControl confirms support of the newer versions.

Operating System • iOS 9.x+


• Android 5.x+
• Windows

Browsers Requires A- or B-grade browsers (see jQuery Mobile). MasterControl has been tested (but
not validated) with the following browsers:
• Microsoft Edge

• Google Chrome
• Safari
