About myself

Born in Amalapuram, E.Godavari District, A.P, Sastry Karra grew up in

Hyderabad, A.P. My father (Late) Karra. Venkata Rao, uncles and grandfather were all

well versed in vedic astrology. It was my family's tradition to provide predictions using

vedic astrology for "Free".

At the age of 16,1 showed interest in astrology, learned the basic calculations

and then predictions from my grandfather.

Being an IT professional, I developed my own software that performs the

standard planetary calculations, different types of dasa calculations and validate

hundreds of yoga combinations mentioned in various classical texts.

I am currently residing in New Jersey, USA and spends my free time by providing

free predictions using facebook. I also wrote some articles explaining the techniques

used for predictions and they are easily available for free in scribd.com website.

Introduction

In Vedic Astrology facebook group, one of the members posted the birth details

of a male native who was unmarried as of April 2014.

In this article, I will be using Sudharshana Chakra Dasa as my baseline to predict

the timing of marriage event and then the possible reasons for the native to remain

unmarried. While analyzing these charts, the known Bhirgu & Brihat methodologies

and other dasa systems are considered. There are more than 10 different ways

to find the possibility of "marriage event timing". I consolidated all of them and

included in this article.

Planetary combinations only provide the needed

opportunities for the possibility of an event to happen, it is up

to the native to make it happen.

If there is NO support from the native, the event might get

skipped.

Let us first look at the Nakshatra Lords of the important planets.

> Moon - Lagnadipathi is residing in Ardra - Rahu being the ruler.

> Sun (Debilitated) - Lord of 2nd house is residing in Nakshatra ruled by

Jupiter.

> Venus a Malefic - Lord of 4th house is residing in Nakshatra ruled by

Saturn. With respect to Janma Nakshatra, it is Vipatha Tara (Very

Bad).

> Mars - Lord of 5th house is residing in Nakshatra ruled by Saturn. With

respect to Janma Nakshatra, it is Vipatha Tara (Very Bad).

> Saturn - Lord of 7th house is residing in Nakshatra ruled by Mars.

> Mercury a Malefic - Lord of 12th house is residing in Nakshatra ruled by

Jupiter.

Thus, 2nd and 12th house lords are in Jupiter's Nakshatra. Unfortunately,

the planet was either Malefic or Debilitated.

Saturn, Rahu and Mars play vital role on Native's ability to get

married and have a home-life environment and this is clearly visible

based on Nakshatras.

> Saturn is the lord of 7th house and residing in its OWN house. Thus, he became the

"decision maker" when it comes to 7th house (Kalatra-stanam).

> Saturn's 10th aspect is on 4th house (home-life environment) which is owned by Venus

(karaka for marriage for men), which is NATURAL 7th house.

> Natal Sun (lord of 2nd house - Kutumbha-stanam) and Natal Mercury (Lord of 12th house -

pleasures of bed) are residing in 7th house. While Sun is debilitated, Mercury is a Malefic.

Let us first look at the important houses related to marriage. While Moon plays a vital

role in getting the native married, since the 7th house lord is in its Kakshya, Mercury plays a

secondary role (since lord of 2nd and 12th houses are in its Kakshya). With Moon residing in 12th

house, cojoined with Rahu, it got afflicted and became weak.

Analying the 7th House in Rashi (Natal) chart with Moon as Lagna:

On natal Chart, Moon is residing in Gemini, Mercury is the house owner. Assuming

Gemini as Lagna, the 7th house will be Sagittarius and Jupiter is the owner of this house.

Saturn is lord of 9th (Dharma-stanam) house and with its 3rd aspect is looking at Jupiter.

Thus, the 7th house lord got "partially" afflicted.

Analying various Dasa Systems;

Let us first look at various dasa systems between the native's age of 21
and 36.

| #1: Vimsottari Dasa System:

According to Vimsottari dasa, Saturn Mahadasa began in 1983-04 (native's age was 20

years old). Thus, the Vimsottari dasa DID NOT cooperate the native to get married

between the age of 24 and 38.

Let us now look at the Cycle ruler Venus, starting the age of 24 years. Venus a Malefic, is

residing in 5th house with Mars (owner of 5th house). Venus residing in Nakshatra owned by

Saturn and Saturn being the 7th house lord, Venus became "helpless". Thus, his whole cycle

was NOT able to initiate the possibility of the native getting married.

Analying the BSP period during preferred age:

Let us look at BSP chart between 26 and 35 years old, since the native is a male and the

possibility to get married is only after 25 years old in the society that native resides.

> Between 26th and 27th Birthday (Nov 1989/ 1990):

o Mars implements its energy in the 10th house from where he is residing.

Since Mars is in 5th house (its OWN), the impact would be on 2nd house.

The Vimsottari dasa during this period was Jupiter/Jupiter too. Thus, this

was ONE of the BEST opportunities for the native to get married,

but for unknown reasons it was lost.

> Between 27th and 28th Birthday (Nov 1990/1991):

o Saturn implements its energy in the 6th house from itself

o The Vimsottari dasa was Jupiter/Jupiter.

o The 6th house from Saturn is the 12th (pleasures of bed) house from

Lagna. Thus, Saturn obstructed the possibility for the native to get

married. Thus, this opportunity was lost.

o Jupiter will implement its 5th aspect in the 5th house from the place it is

o The 5th house from Jupiter is 1st house, which was FULLY

AFFLICTED by Saturn's direct aspect. Thus, Jupiter was "helpless".

Thus, this opportunity was lost.

Analyzing the other BSP rules:

Let us analyze the other BSP rules that have impact on 2nd, 4th, 7th and 12th houses. Also,

let us re-visit the BSP rules pertaining to Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Planets in 7th house and Lord

of 7th house.

let the native get married between his 31st and 32nd birthday.

Let us go more in detail the "Graha Argala" as per Sage Brihat (explained in BPH5).
