Form CS-28 Erection Checklist

I. CIVIL WORKS :
1 Does anchor bolt size comply with for construction drawing issued
by Arcedges ?
2 Check on anchor bolt / template orientation
3 Are the dimensions correct bolt to bolt on the base ?
4 Are the dimensions correct center to centre of grid lines (or with
allowable tolerance)
5 Is the edge distance from bolt to concrete correct ?
6 Is the sheeting notch in the concrete correct ?
7 Are the bases or edge beams within acceptable levels ?
8 Is the concrete quality sound and adequate ?

II. FRAME ERECTION :
1 Is the roof and wall bracing in place?
2 Are back up plates fitted where required, at bracing locations ?
3 Is the bracing tight ?
4 Are the flange braces fixed on columns & rafters ?
5 Are the high strength bolts installed in correct location ?
6 Is the washer installed with the HSB ?
7 Is the HSB thread projection correct ?
8 Are the HSB’s correctly tightened ?
9 Are all purlin bolts installed ?
10 Are all purlin clips fitted where required ?
11 Are eave strut plates fitted where required ?
12 Are purlins straight and aligned ?
13 Are the main frames plumbed and aligned within allowable tolerance ?
14 Are crane beams braced and aligned ?
15 Are stoppers fitted on crane beams ?

16 Have crane columns been levelled and grouted ?


17 Are all bolts (HSB & MB) in place on mezzanine (before concreting) ?

III. SHEETING AND TRIMMING :
1 Is the base angle securely fastened to concrete ?
2 Are the girts and purlins temporarily supported during sheeting ?

IV. INSULATION :
1 Is the fibreglass insulation cut to length and fixed correctly with double
faced tape ?
2 Has the insulation been properly staped at the side tabs ?
3 Has the insulation been correctly joined (wide spans) ?
4 Is the insulation taught and not sagging ?
5 Have any tears in insulation been repaired with patching tape ?

V. SHEETING - VERTICAL :
1 Are sheets correctly lapped ?
2 Are the sheets plumb ?
3 Are the sheets fastened in the correct location ?
4 Are the sheets fastened with the correct length of fastener ?
5 Have side lap fasteners been fitted as indicated on drawings ?
6 Have corner trims been correctly fitted with correct number of
fasteners ?

VI. SHEETING - ROOFING :
1 Are the sheets correctly lapped-sides and ends ?
2 Is the tail-line of sheeting straight ?
3 Has endlap mastic been installed ?
4 Has roof been cleaned ?

7 Are the roof panels double screwed at end laps ?

VII. GUTTERS - EAVE :
1 Have eave gutters been sealed at overlaps and correct number of rivets
installed at the joint ?
2 Have end caps been sealed and fitted ?
3 Have down pipe outlets been sealed and rivetted ?
4 Are the down pipes plumb and correctly fastened ?

VIII. GUTTERS - VALLEY :
1 Are the splices correctly sealed and bolted / welded & checked for
leakages?
2 Are the outlets sealed ?

IX. ACCESSORIES :
1 Are all trims around accessories and framed openings fixed ?
2 Are skylights installed and framed (if roof insulated) ?
3 Are ridge vents fastened according to drawing ?
4 Are ridge vents in line ?
5 Have foam closures been fitted under ridge vents ?
6 Has the roof sheets been crimped upwards at the ridge vent ?
7 Have end flashings been fitted at ridge vents ?
8 On continuous ridge vents has the connection flashing been installed ?
9 Are louvers installed as per the drawings & with specified mesh /
net?

X. GENERAL :
1 Has the work been cleaned-off, specially roof sheeting & gutters ?
2 Is sheeting straight, plumb and aligned ?
3 Are sheet ribs aligned where appropriate (eg. soffit to wall) ?
4 Has all touch-up been done on frame and sheets ?
5 Are all trims installed according to details ?
