o Supervise Public Utility projects, employees, services and contractors.


o Oversee the construction, repair and maintenance of Settlement public buildings.
o Supervise the usage of settlement equipment allocated to the Public Works department by
ensuring proper storage, maintenance and repair of Settlement equipment.
o Negotiate with outside agencies, contractors and suppliers as required.
o Prepare project schedules, coordinate projects and monitor results achieved, to ensure that
contractors are completing work according to Terms of Reference.

program.

Personnel Policy and make recommendations, to the Administrator, areas that require

construction projects and rental of Settlement equipment.
o Develop a working relationship with government and other outside agencies that relate to this
department (i.e.: Alberta Transportation, etc.).

and Safety.
