Psychiatry is in crisis and in need of new paradigms, one of the most promising is
the vision of mental disorders from network theory.
The study of irritability is gaining great importance in recent years trying to elucidate
its nature, its association with other psychopathological symptoms, with the different
mental disorders, its global impact on the individual and its relationship with health
and social problems in the future , being a symptom present in the majority of
psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.
In this study we analyze from the perspective of network theory how interact
different psychopathological dimensions (affective measures by CDI, impulsive measure
by BIS), socio-demographic variables (Sex, Age, Socio-Economic Status, Manual
Dominance) and analog-visual scales [VAS]. (General Condition, Sadness, Anxiety,
Irritability, Susceptibility)

This is a sample group of 745 patients with emotional dysregulation who were
followed up in a child and adolescent psychiatry unit between 2004 and 2010.
They were divided according to different levels of irritability (<5, 5, >5), and we
estimate the network structure for the 3 groups through the indications of Network The network structure for the variables under study was different according to
