LOVE
WORLD BIBLE

An intense we loved God, but
feeling of deep that he loved us and
affection. sent his Son as an
atoning sacrifice for
our sins.

God is love. Not love is God
The very essence of SIN is
SELF-CENTEREDNESS

20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a
brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not
love their brother and sister, whom they have
seen, cannot love God, whom they have not
seen.

often so difficult?

but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

true love?

the Law?”

What does LOVE
require of

YOU?
We are NOT a channel of
God’s judging,
but a channel of God’s love
1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do
not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a
clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and
can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I
have a faith that can move mountains, but do not
have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the
poor and give over my body to hardship that I may
boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
