CSU-SE provides a safe and easy access for authorized personne|, encompasses an all-around protection and access deterrence for the general public in proximity of the unit. Through an installed on board SCADA equipment, the CSU-SE transmits telemetric data using a modulator/demodulator (Modem) to Control Centre using ‘commands from the master supervisory system. Through this connection, control is established on the equipment and data transfer within the CSU-SE intemal network. The CSU-SE is designed fo withstand the surrounding temperature, humidity, rain, solar radiation and cendensation. Filed with SF6 gas and sealed permanentiy, the switchgear and busbar: assembly is enclosed in a totally welded gas-tight stainless steel enclosure. The performance obtained meets the IEC stondord of “Sealed Pressure System”. The RMU is equipped with a gas pressure indicator with readings independent of the ambient temperature. The 11kV MY RMU uses fwe load break and one fuse switeh.
