YDİ211 Course Description and Goals

Course Description

YDI 211 is a learner-centered, integrated-skills based course, which builds on YDI 111 & 112. YDI 211 will
improve students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in the pre-intermediate level.

Course Goals

The overall aim of this course is to develop students’ four skills in listening, writing, reading and speaking at the
pre-intermediate level. Tasks will require students not only to perform at knowledge and comprehension levels,
but also apply what they have learnt in learning settings.

GRADING POLICY:

1. Mid-term: 40 %
2. Final Exam: 60% (You need to score at least 50 in the final exam.)
