Read the following statements carefully. Then write your observations report on the space provided.
1. Look at the walls of the classroom. What are posted on the walls? What heroes, religious
figures, lessons, visual aids, announcements, do you see posted?
2. Examine how the pieces of furniture are arranged. Where is the teacher’s table located?
How are the tables and chair/s desks arranged?
When I went into different classrooms at the school, there were no pictures
or decorations on the walls. This is because the school follows a rule from the
Department of Education (DepEd), called DepEd Order No. 21, s. 2023. This rule
says that classrooms should be plain, with no extra pictures, signs, or posters on
the walls. This helps students stay focused on their lessons.
There are two tables in each classroom – one designated for the adviser and
the other for subject teachers. The location of adviser’s tables varies from
classroom to classroom; some have them positioned in the front corner side,
others at the back, and some in the left corner side. For subject teachers is
consistently situated at the front, often near the chalkboard.
Be guided by these tasks as you do your observation. Then accomplish the matrix to record your data.

utilized by subject teachers for instructional purposes. Unfortunately, specific
information regarding the condition of these teacher's tables was not included
in the initial observation report. The teacher's tables in each classroom are in
good condition, ensuring a suitable workspace for both advisers and subject
teachers.
In each classroom, the way the student desks are set up can vary. They're
usually organized in rows or groups facing the teacher's desk and the board.
3. Learners Desk The number of desks depends on the classroom size, usually fitting around
45 to 50 students. Some of the desks and chairs are broken and need fixing or
