a. Quality of upkeep of arms and ammunition.


b. System of maintenance of record of government arms and ammunition.
c. Whether the record was cross checked with the DPO to ensure all weapons issued
to Police Station are available in stock?
d. Annual Range Classification firing: -
i. When was it last done?
ii. Whether all police personnel got an opportunity?
iii. Whether it was ensured that all weapons were fired with?
iv. Comments for improvement.

12. Welfare meeting with P.S. Staff: -

a. Grievances aired by the staff. if any.


b. Suggestions offered by staff for improvement in P.S. functioning.

13. Maintenance and upkeep of Mess (Kitchen and dining hall) and Barracks:

a. Are the Mess and Barracks part of the P.S?


b. If yes, remarks about their upkeep, quality of food, mess bill, etc.

14. Maintenance and upkeep of P.S. registers:

reasons for the delays. Also give your suggestions for improvements.
16. Resources of police station utilized for public order duties and VIP protection duties
during the period under inspection: -

a. Is there a record maintained for such deployment?


b. What effect does it have on performance of other responsibilities by the police
station?

17. System of night patrolling and static deployment in the P.S.: -

a. Describe the night security scheme for the police station (beat patrol, nakas,
mobile patrols, etc.)
b. What is the system of supervision and checking of night duties in the police
station?

18. Morning roll-call, parade and rotation of duties: -

a. Who normally conducts the morning roll-call and briefing at the P.S? Is this as
per the police rules?
b. Is parade done at the PS on a weekly/monthly basis? Is parade a part of the
inspection drill? Comment on the ground situation vis-a-vis the provisions of the
police rules.
c. Are the duties of the non-gazetted officers and ORS (Other Ranks) rotated on a
regular basis? Check the relevant record and comment.

REPORT ON A MAJOR BANDOBAST/VIP SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS
